> 24 hourI bought the cheap pair of Irwin snips at the home improvement store while waiting for these to arrive so I could continue on my project. Those snips were a nightmare. Nothing but blisters and pain. Some nails it just couldnt handle. These snips, on the other hand, can handle the same load and more with a single hand and minimal effort. If I could afford to, I would replace all my pliers with Knipex versions. They always blow me away with what they can do.

> 24 hourwhen roofing my house a few of the sheet nails missed the studs. i bought these to cut the missed nails off and they did not disappoint. They cut almost completely flush to the surface and after cutting about 50 nails there is no noticeable deformation or damage to the blades.

> 24 hourPurchased to cut off nails protruding from the first floor though into the basement before installing new duct work. The nippers have excellent leverage for cutting through wire nails, even with my mildly arthritic hands. Not good for cut nails, however, as these are harder but fortunately more brittle. Easier to bend these back-and-forth with pliers until they break

> 24 hourGreat leverage tool, but whatever youre cutting off doesnt cut as close to the surface as other similar tools like this that I have used.

> 24 hourI chose these cutters for leather working because they have a compound action. This makes cutting brass rivets more manageable than with traditional cutters, the handles are offset to the side of the cutters and that also helps gaining access to cutting in some hard to reach areas .

> 24 hourThe previous owners of my house used really long nails to put a roof on the covered porch and the ends stuck out at least an inch from the boards making the ceiling look like the inside of an Iron Maiden! This awesome tool allowed me to cut them off flush to the boards so you cant notice them. Im a 73 year old woman and had no trouble squeezing the handles. I love these cutters.

> 24 hourI bought this specifically to cut the nail off that came through my subfloor. We got these in a week before our plumbers were scheduled to install our radiant heat... Jokes on us, these didnt even cut the first nail and chipped/deformed. We ended up purchasing an extra grinder and taking them off that way. This was a waste of our time.

> 24 hourI love these nippers, so much better than any other pair Ive owned. I primarily use these to cut copper rivets down to size for leatherworking. The low pivot point give these have amazing leverage. Very good design and a comfortable handle too!
