I used this tool to cut off roofing nails that protruded into my porch ceiling. The tool performed flawlessly.

I dont know why roofers insist on using nails that are too long. Ive poked my head a few times up there laying wires, etc. I dont want to use a saw and get metal shavings all over. So I use this to trim the nails where I work. Works great and doesnt take a great deal of effort to use.

Cuts through 12 gauge tempered concrete ties easily.

Durable; allows me to cut bolts and screws easily.

Not a great product for $50

Excellent tool

Threw out 2 pairs of cheap-os that would barely cut a nail. This one cuts like butter, I’m impressed. Just used to trim all the errant nails on a 2- story shed build and it’s amazing to me how easily these cut.

If you need to read reviews about Knipex tools, you know nothing about tools.

The cutters worked great for the first 400 or 500 nails that held shingle siding on. They literally cut right thru nails, then I noticed that there was a chip on the end. I am ordering another set because it may have been user error on my part. I will be more careful on the next pair. If I have failure on this pair I will re-review this product with an update. Right now my project is on hold.
