I got one for my daughter who is leaving in the Fall for College and also for my sisters and mom for extra protection. The light shines so bright and the alarm is super loud and will definitely make any criminal run.

Myself and a group of friends babysit toddlers and go on long walks. Even though we all have cell phones, this is for Peace of Mind, purchased for my buddies. If anything should happen while walking and assistance is needed, all we have to do is pull the pin and anyone home or around will hear the noise and come see what the issue is. Hoping help will come quicker then a phone call. Also if we feel like we are being followed, we can always sound the alarm to scare that person(s) away.
