Solid piece of metal with a good hinge. Ive been using it mostly with a 12.9 1st gen iPad pro. It keeps the tablet stable both in landscape and portrait orientation. Its easy to adjust the angle of view and holds whatever angle its set it to.

I like this one because it is adjustable. I had others that didnt adjust and while they were ok, I feel this one is better.

I love this thing! It looks cool and works great. It has very low profile sticky pads on the bottom and where your tablet sits. You dont hardly notice they are there, but man do they stick! Your tablet doesnt slide around at all, it stays put and same with the stand, it doesnt slide around on your desk easily. It holds adjustment very well, but its not too stiff where its impossible to move. All around just a well-made office accessory. Ill never go back to not having one.
