Very sturdy and surprisingly stable even when in portrait mode and when touching the screen. I bought this to support my Surface Pro 4 when working at my desk with a wireless keyboard. The lip is sized perfectly so that I can fold the keyboard back and have it still fit comfortably on the stand. This makes using my surface feel like a real desktop at home, but gives me the freedom to pull it right off the stand when I go to class. My only suggestion is that it should be at least an inch or so taller. It raises my surface about an 1-3/4 inches off of my desk, but I still find myself having to look down and it is significantly shorter than my external monitor. If I was going to do it again, I might consider the Lamicall S1 since this has a wider backrest, but looks a little bit shorter.

very handy and useful

I was a little scared to order this, because the last tablet stand I purchased broke within a month, because it was light and flimsy. This tablet stand, however, feels MUCH sturdier and built with quality materials. I like that you don’t have to unscrew any knobs in order to adjust the angle of the stand. That was one of the problems with my last one. The knobs were plastic, so majority of the time the knobs would come undone. The angle of this one can be changed quickly, but is tight enough to not move one you get it to the angle of your liking.

Great Products

I was just looking for something to hold my tablet so I could use it for videos, reading, etc on my desk as if it is a monitor. The tablet stand is heavy and made of ~1/8 thick cast aluminum (?). It has a single hinge. It is not a portable design. The finish on the fingers which hold the tablet is a little imperfect but there is nothing wrong with its function.
