I ordered this and the Satechi R1 at the same time. The Satechi feels more premium but not by much. But, this stand has only a single hinge, whereas the Satechi has a lower hinge. That is a design flaw for an ipad, as it makes it unstable. This one is rock solid. Im keeping it and returning the Satechi, and I saved some money.

Perfect to hold my iPad at my salon. It makes it way easier for my clients to sign when making a purchase than holding on to !
