Super bright compared to the old factory installed regular 15w bulb. Very white and good for sewing. Hope they last

I order them for my sewing machine and had to put a cover over it because it was so brite. The good thing is that in my vintage Kenmore it did stop it from getting too hot and my pressure foot isnt getting hot any more either so now I am not sewing under a hot sewing machine.

Have an older singer golden touch and sew and these lights are at least ten times brighter than the original.

I bought this to replace an old bulb in a featherweight. The nubs are too big to fit into the slots in the featherweight sewing machine. It will slide into place, but will not turn. The old bulb inserts and removes very easily. I then bought the LED bulb from The Featherweight Shop on Amazon and it installed perfectly. It was 3 times the price per bulb, but it works. I was able to install one of these bulbs into a vintage Bernina machine. That is why I am giving it 2 stars instead of one.

Replaced burned out incandescent bulb that could burn my fingers. Runs cool, very bright. How long yet to see.

It wasnt explicit in the reviews or questions that I read, so here it is. This fit my 1977 model Bernina and greatly reduced the heat coming off the machine which was enough to burn my hand on the cover. Im very happy with the light, its brighter than the 15w incandescent that was in there, but still a soft color. Of course the base doesnt match any of the other 9 sewing machines here, so I wish I didnt have to buy 2.

My wife has told me this light has improved the comfort of long sewing sessions since it produces zero heat and the brightness has improved visibility while sewing. As the person who installed this light, Id have to say its super simple once you open your sewing machine but some machines make that nut hard to crack. Thankfully wasnt that hard for our sewing machine and the bayonet style makes installation easy.
