> 3 dayThe overall transfer was quick and easy. You need to fully read the directions and make sure both computers have all updates installed before even thinking to begin. I had a couple issues but had no problem using the tech assistant chat feature on the website. They were able to talk me through all the steps to allow the software to run. It took me about 2 days to get it done, but both computers needed a bunch of updates. And even with a typically really slow wifi, it only took about 1.5 hours to completely transfer. I also liked how I could choose anything that didnt need to transfer to the new computer. Overall a great value if you dont want to pay a couple hundred dollars and have your computer away to a tech store to do the transfer.

> 3 dayBe prepared for problems if changing to a different eMail program - this can be very time consuming, especially if moving away from Thunderbird (a great program). If using OneDrive, take extra precautions.

> 3 dayI tried to transfer files manually and I am not tech savvy so this product did what I could not do on my own.

> 3 dayI purchased PCMover when the Windows 7 extinction event was hitting everyone. I then needed to move my files from the computer with the Windows 7 to my new computer which had Windows 10. I was not aware at the time I purchased my original package that to move those files, I needed the more extensive coverage product. After trying and trying, I contacted the customer support department. THIS was the key to my having a complete move of my data! Though it took several hours, I am not a tech friendly lady. the young man who assisted me was superb. There were a number of times he needed to remote in to help me. Our connection was broken a few times too. He stuck with me, had great patience and demonstrated super guidance and careful supervision. I would use their product again confident that any help I need is there for the asking.

Greater than one weekIt took a few false starts to get this to work correctly, but then it really did what it was supposed to do, that is, transfer both files and programs from my old laptop to my new one. of course this takes some time to do! I did have a problem I that my 500 GB hard drive was partitioned so it initially only transferred the stuff on one drive. I later figured out how to get this program to transfer the information on the other drive. I used the ethernet cable so that made the most sense and it worked well. Got a very good pr9ce for this from Amazon and was happily surprised that the packaged included the ethernet cable (as a bonus). Good show -- RB

> 3 dayIt copied the desktop, but not all the desktop links. The programs that were installed did not all get moved and re-installed. The OUTLOOK email was completely ignored in the move. This product is a waste of time and money. (I wonder if their free phone help would have been of any value.) I removed everything that it did by having the new PC revert to its new status, then I physically moved the hard drive from the old system to the new system and copied my files. Then I installed the programs that I needed, and set up the new OUTLOOK. It ignores the ethernet connection and uses the wi-fi connections, so the ethernet cable they provide is useless/unnecessary.

> 3 dayI did set up the PCs and got a bit confused so chatted with the online tech support, he quickly got me configured correctly and I ran the software over night; by the next morning the new PC was setup perfectly. This was a huge help! Highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI work from home and have a lot of various software on my computer. Upgrading my PC used to mean finding or downloading the install software for each program.
