> 24 hourThe Yamdeg Travel Backpack is one hefty duty backpack. I did not expect it to be so large (but that’s a good thing!) This backpack feels more like a suitcase. It is extra spacious, with several pockets in, outside and around the case, including pockets on the side for umbrellas and drinks. The description states that this backpack is TSA travel airline approved. It offers breathable padding for your laptop or other important electronics and also offers USB charging and an interface for headphones. This backpack comes in 4 different colors, but I chose the blue. My only concern is that the top of the backpack was showing signs of unraveling at the top (take a look at first photo). It’s not a lot, but I hope it doesn’t spread with use. Its worth the $39.98 price tag. I recommend this item.

> 24 hourThe backpack itself is designed well and the materials seem durable. It has a variety of pockets that are well placed and allow you to organize everything you need to carry with you. The one thing that immediately caught my attention however when I opened the package was that it has a very strong burnt/chemical smell to the backpack. Ive let it sit out for a week now and the smell is still there. Im not sure how to get rid of it, but it bothers me. The backpack itself is decent, but the smell of the material makes me not want to use it.

> 24 hourAwesome backpack for laptops! This backpack is thick, padded and durable. In the main compartment there is a strap to keep your laptop secure from moving around. I got this for my 13 year old son for school. He has a Chromebook and a lot of school books to carry around. This backpack is roomy and should last a long time.

> 24 hourFor starters, Im ALWAYS on the lookout for bigger and better backpacks. This one really fits the bill! Let me (literally!) count the ways: 42.28 Liters is the SIZE of this gentle giant! If that aint LARGE, I dont know what is! ;o) I have been doing a lot of traveling as of late, and was able to put this guy through its paces a few days ago. This Yamdeg Backpack has a lot of great features. Plenty of pockets is a must-- this pack has 15, yes 15 of them! I almost misplaced my stuff within this pack when I literally forgot where I put them! ;o) That what a LOT of pockets will do! ;o) The two mesh outside pockets seem larger than usual to me, which is great for holding larger travel mugs and the like. They are reinforced too, with a finer mesh on the inside of them... I havent seen that before. Ticks another box, those mesh pockets. There are five zippered compartments for want of a better word. One fairly shallow starting with the front of the pack, a medium compartment is next, with both a wide pocket and smaller pockets within for your pens, niche items and whatnot, a large (Ill say HUGE!) luggage-like compartment complete with elastic straps within to hold your clothes together on one side, plus a padded laptop pocket on the other side of this section. This compartment completely opens up flat, with clothes on one side and the laptop gear on the other side, which is helpful for those TSA guys checking out your computer stuff. Lastly, the fifth zippered compartment is hidden at the backside of this pack, for you to stash important things you cant afford to lose that may affect you getting around, like passports. Well call that the anti-theft compartment, shall we? ;o) Technology components or ports are available too, like a USB cable and connecting port so you can charge/use your phone whilst the power bank resides in a special inside mesh pocket for example. Ive never had that option before either, and theres not one, but two of these inner mesh pockets (!) residing next to the zippers on both sides of the backpack in what I call the fourth or luggage compartment. Love, love that feature-- nice touch, that one! (Speaking of which, theres only one USB cable connector that is available above one of the mesh pockets.) There are two porthole options that reside on the right side of the backpack looking at it from the front, one for your headphones and the other is labeled USB; obviously for you to connect using your own cable(s) for your devices, be it a for power bank or whatever connection you desire. Ticked another box, that one! This pack has a comfortable padded handle at the top, straps to tighten your luggage compartment so the pack rests on your back compactly. My shoulders are thanking the company that designed these padded, yet breathable shoulder straps as my backpack was filled to the gills and a bit heavy for me. I was heading home after spending a lot of time at one place, and I needed to fill every inch of this sturdy well-made pack, should you want to know. Zippers were sturdy too, come to think of it. And a great way to take a break, you can plunk the backpack on your suitcase retractable handle, using the convenient luggage strap. There are no cons to speak of, save a small wish after dashing through the airport: I wish the laptop section was in a compartment by itself. I was worried some of my clothing items would fall out, like socks and t-shirts that werent contained by the crisscrossed elastic luggage straps. I had to move rather quickly to take out both my computer and tablet out of this backpack to put in the tray for TSA scanning. This particular airport is notorious for making you do that, and it doesnt help matters when they are super busy! One of my other backpacks had this independent laptop compartment feature, but I couldnt use it, because it was too small. Enough said! Do yourself a favor, get this wonderful backpack for yourself! You wont regret it! Have a superb summer coming up! ;o) ******************************************************************************************************* Update: An opportunity to save wee bit of moolah! > 24 hourGreat bag for overnight travel or a carry on. Tons of pockets and compartments for organizing. Will fit a larger laptop (17) and has a compartment where you can fit some clothes for an overnight trip, possibly even a weekend if you pack light :) Seems like everywhere you look there is another compartment, zippered or patch pocket. It has straps to keep your clothes compact and in place, has a strap with clasp for keys, a mesh pocket to keep items secure and out of sight, unzips wide for easy access. Should be waterproof, feels like the material is treated. Looks like a good value, considering the price and the features. Its got a USB external port and a port to plugin headphones... though you will need a power bank to make that feature useful. Note that I had to adjust the USB port as mine arrived bit crooked, but I was able to plugin once I fiddled with it a bit. Overall its a good value, nice travel backpack with lots of features for the price, especially for travel.

> 24 hourThis is the backpack Ive needed my whole life. Its large enough to carry my belongings yet comfortable to carry. My laptop, 5 external hard drives, power cord, wireless keyboard & mouse all fit and there is still room for other items. Oh it has a built in USB cord and more than enough pockets. My TSA experience was a breeze too. everything has a place and securely keeps it from moving around so my inspection was a breeze. If you travel alot, that has to be worth its weight in gold.

> 24 hourI am very impressed with this backpack! I have been searching for the ONE backpack to meet all my travel needs. And I do believe I just found it!! This backpack is extremely roomy! When I travel, I take my backpack and a 19inch spinner suitcase. I am not a fan of checking luggage too often I have arrived, and my luggage didnt. SO, I have learned to pack and travel with just two bags that airlines allow on board. I have diligently been seeking a backpack with a wide opening that would pack like a suitcase, offer me laptop/iPad sleeve and handle my personal items as well as additional clothing. By golly this one fits the requirements!! Plenty of room for packing cubes, will handle my electronics, organized to find things easily, the backpack itself is super lightweight which is a huge plus- has a trolley strap so it will fit on my spinner. I am thrilled. And it opens with ease for clearing TSA. Does it get any better? I dont think so. I am a senior, enjoy international travel for up to 3 weeks at a time and this little buddy is my new best friend! The quality of construction is excellent, I am looking forward to many years of use!
