This is my new travel bag! It has good solid construction, strong materials, and all the storage space you may need for a few days or, depending on how you travel, a lot longer. As with most laptop bags, there are pockets galore, with a place for everything I could think of to pack in it. Its got side ports for headphones and USB from the front pocket. There are little straps everywhere to hang all manner of things. It doesnt have little mesh pockets on the shoulder straps like Ive had on some bags, but thats not a huge issue. The back pocket is cargo heaven. it folds all the way open and offers a gaping 11x18x6.5 luggage capacity, and even has those nice crisscrossed straps to keep everything in place. There are mesh pockets on each side, and the back panel is the all-important laptop pocket. But herein is where my only issues lie. There is something in the material between the luggage and the laptop, not stiff, not as thick as a even a cheap mousepad, and not very protective. There are somewhat padded areas between your back and the laptop (and a handy zippered documents pocket on the outside), but only in certain areas, leaving less protection than Id like. Its nothing a good padded sleeve couldnt fix, but I would really like to not have to take my laptop out twice. My other issue involves one of those side pockets, which is clearly intended for a backup battery. I was so excited to see this, as there is a separate, dedicated port to the outside of the bag, with a cable already installed for the purpose, male to female connectors, so you can hook up the battery, close your bag, then just plug into the side of the bag for a charge! But when I set all this up and tried it out, I got the dreaded battery is charging slowly message on my phone. After pulling everything and testing it all out, there is something about that included cable that prevents fast charging and even drags down the basic flow of power. The cable is, thankfully, removable, and can be substituted for another cable which will easily run through the side port, but it just isnt as handy as plugging any standard USB cord into the side of the bag. Neither of those are deal breakers, though, and Im excited to use this bag. Im especially excited because its a beautiful, unadorned black thats begging for me to adorn it! I wonder if I could find a blue flames patch for it like the one I had... a long time ago...

    Greater than one week

This is a nice large backpack. Seems like most nowadays are smaller. This size is about the max that can fit in an overhead compartment on a plane and I imagine is deliberate. Nice quality with all the usual extra pockets and compartments. Well made also. A good deal. :)

Update: I dropped the rating to one star - do not buy this bag. The chemical / burnt plastic smell did not dissipate after 2 weeks of airing out and even running it through the washing machine. Its a nice enough bag at the $20 to $25 price range - very similar to other travel bags sold on Amazon at this price or a little higher. The layout and pockets are very usable and are sturdy enough to stand up to a reasonable amount of travel. The main section is very large and can easily hold the same amount of cargo as a piece of rolling luggage. The admin areas have a nice array of pockets and run the full height of the bag. This is constructed as a travel bag, but be aware that a lot of weight will be positioned far out from your body, which could add to fatigue if worn for a long time. The padded areas on the back are a nice bonus at this price. The big negative is the smell. I am used to reviewing bags, and this one has been off-gassing a plastic smell for more than a week as I kept it opened and hanging to air out. I wouldnt want to pack my clothing in it since the smell would permeate the clothing. Ill keep airing it out, but I have ordered other low-cost bags that either have no smell or the smell quickly dissapates, so the smell on this bag is noticeable.

The backpack itself is designed well and the materials seem durable. It has a variety of pockets that are well placed and allow you to organize everything you need to carry with you. The one thing that immediately caught my attention however when I opened the package was that it has a very strong burnt/chemical smell to the backpack. Ive let it sit out for a week now and the smell is still there. Im not sure how to get rid of it, but it bothers me. The backpack itself is decent, but the smell of the material makes me not want to use it.

I sometimes need a backpack that can hold a couple of laptops, ipads, chargers, power bank and a couple of books, plus toiletries. This back pack can definitely carry all of them with a few spaces to spare. Its not heavy duty material but lightweight and padded inner lining. Good inseam stitching. It seems water resistant and durable. Great as a school bag, business travel and Go bag. I prefer without the wheels or handle as it will make it heavier and might damage the bag if strolled in a rough pavement. I have a different stroller bag/luggage for that purpose. This is a decent and large backpack with a reasonable price.

What a great backpack for travel, school, or whatever. My favorite things: -a pretty pop of color on quality material. -the stitching appears to be strong and durable so it should last the test of time and weighty things. -its padded in all the right places: the carry handle, the straps, and along the back. -it has a LOT of pockets and they are almost all zippered for security. Plus it has a hidden zip pocket on the back for additional security. -it has TWO water bottle pockets. This can come in handy when you want to carry an umbrella or need extra drinks. -it expands and has straps to secure the expansion in the place you want. The main compartment is really, really roomy. Roomier than Ive seen in most backpacks which is great. Sometimes you need that extra space to carry clothes, a jacket, a travel pillow, whatever. -it has double zippers so you can zip/unzip from either side. -it has a laptop slip pocket with elastic and padding to keep it secure and safe. Plus, its a big backpack so itll fit bigger laptops. -it has an attached USB cable so you can carry your own powerbank and charge your phone or tablet on the go. -it has a strap that allows you to carry it easily on rolling luggage for travel. -it has curved straps which tend to fit better, imo. And the straps have a bit of reflective material to ensure safety at night. I dont really have any complaints about this backpack. It has a ton of great, thoughtful features and its big but not so big it wont fit under an airplane seat. For the price, this is a fantastic buy.

We’ve been looking for a large travel backpack for the longest time and we’ve finally found the perfect one. This backpack provides a massive amount of storage space and yet meets all airline size requirements. We had no issue using it as an under the seat item. The backpack opens up all the way like regular luggage would, making it easy to pack. It has tons of pockets that are perfect for laptops and tablets, and a security harness on the inside to keep your clothes in place. A side panel allows you to place a battery pack on the inside and charge your device conveniently on the outside. You can also store your phone on the inside and attach wired headphones via an outside port. The shoulder straps are plush and comfortable. Side straps allow you to reduce the width of the backpack, and an inside strap allows you to attach it to your rollable luggage. The material looks great and wicks away water. It’s easy to just wipe down to clean.

This is our second backpack similar to this that zips open all the way like a suitcase. This one is definitely my favorite of the two because this one has a few additional features. Like the other backpack we have, this has a back zippered location thats padded that keeps things like wallets, tickets, passports, etc safer from pickpockets. Its a flat pocket, so dont expect to fit more than that in it. This also has a pocket with an additional zippered and pocket organizer. Like the other backpack, this also has a hookup for a power bank do you can charge your phone from an external port on the backpack. However, one of the biggest differences is this backpack has a pocket inside the main compartment that holds your power bank. Its something the other backpack doesnt have that seemed like a big omission. This backpack doesnt have a separate zippered laptop compartment, but it does have a laptop pocket in the main compartment. This backpack also has an extra pad layer on the front larger compartment (not the simple zippered slit pocket) which is nice to protect other things like ereaders and tablets. Overall, Im very happy with this backpack and look forward to flying and traveling with it.

Yamdeg Travel Backpack, Extra Large Carry-on Backpack, 17-inch Laptop Backpack for School College Business with USB, TSA Airline Approved Waterproof Travel Backpack for Women Men, Pink The backpack comes simply packaged in a clear plastic bag to protect it during shipping. Opening the backpack and looking from the back. Has two openings with large zippers, a large central pocket that is subdivided into two small pockets about the size of a back pocket on a pair of jeans, and a zippered pocket to put smaller items in the second zipper pocket in the back opens up to be quite large and has two long pockets in the back that are about 5 in wide and about 10 in deep along with a larger area pocket to open up on. There is also a short lanyard with a clip that is probably intended for a key clip. The very outside of the back of the backpack is a pocket of about 8x10. Thats all one big open space with no sub-pockets or dividers. I think the first smaller pocket in the back is the one that is laptop capable because it seems to have some padding on the inside, on the very back part of the backpack. The way the padding feels, (without cutting it open to look) it seems to me that that is a closed cell foam which is pretty good against bumps and protection against small damages. On both sides of the backpack are elastic web pockets that look like theyre designed for a water bottle or similar. On the back part of the backpack, where it goes up against your back, there is a small padded pocket that seems to be a water-resistant lining. And two more padded sections about where your shoulder blades would go. Opening up the main storage portion of the backpack, on either side. There is a buckle strap so that you can cinch it closed more tightly, and take pressure off the zipper in case you have a lot of things inside your backpack. There is a large elastic x shape with a buckle in the middle to secure a laptop or other large object, and there is a wire protruding in from the USB outlet on the side with a USBA connector that is right next to a mesh pocket so you could put a battery pack inside the backpack, close everything up, and still be able to plug your phone in to charge from your battery pack on the inside, without opening the pack. Still looking at the inside of the backpack, the side opposite to where the battery connector is is a large open pocket that is secured by a Velcro strap that is big enough to put file folders or books into. All in all, this looks like a pretty versatile pack for students, office workers, or just taking a scenic trip. Trip. Its not going to take you hiking in the Sierras, but for the urban mountainscape, I think this would work very well.

This is a really well made backpack for the price. It holds a lot. The blue is a really nice color. I like that it zips like a suitcase and holds lots of clothes. Its nice for a weekend trip so you dont have to take a suitcase.
