Lees Kritter Keeper, X-Large Rectangle w/Lid(Assorted colors)

Nice economic solution for a frog terrarium. I fostered several tadpoles that eventually grew into frogs. I’m keeping them safe for a few weeks before releasing. The lid is a bit challenging to remove but the hinged opening incorporated in the lid reduces the need to remove the lid for feeding. I can get my hand through the opening so it works out. I raised monarchs in this too. The caterpillars climb to the top and can attach to the lid when spinning into a chrysalis. Again....the lid is problematic ...I just leave it loosely covered then because it would damage the chrysalis when wrestling off the lid.

I am pretty happy on this purchase, although there was a minor chip by the lid, but hey, I used the chipped area as a hose tube feed for the airstones in my tank, other wise Im glad about purchasing, its a4 gallon and can hold my betta fish.

I purchased this in the fall of 17. I keep guppies, and one of them gave birth. I have been using the xlarge kritter keeper as a nano tank to rear some of the fry in. Would probably also be good as a bredding tank for a pair or trio of adults. Potentially also a good tank for a betta.

Packaged great! Perfect for my cricket house. Lightweight (unlike a 10 gal aquarium), easy to clean. Con-- the lid is near impossible to remove, snapped on, now doesnt want to come off.

this is the 5th if not more of this product i have bought as a night cage for my parrot. but the amount of work i had to put in before she could go near it was ridiculous. I had to go out and buy an iron to melt the sides down and soften the sharp edges that were cutting me. as well as trim off tons of extra plastic. i love your product for what i need it for but this one was REALLY MESSED UP!

Large enough to install cage furniture (branches. nest, exercise wheel, etc) for my mouse. I was able to rig a water bottle inside of the cage. Initially, the lid fits snuggly but loosens up with use. Creative chewers may chew through the lid if they do not have enough enrichment and interesting chewables. All good.

When they said XL they meant XL for sure! I thought itd be half its size however im very satisfied because my crab has tons of room now! Besides the hard to open lid, this is great!
