> 3 dayI used this as a temporary tank for a crested gecko. It works fine and is sturdy. However, the blue lid doesn’t quite match up with the bottom perfectly, so it is really difficult to open the lid once you snap it closed. I think maybe the tank part is a little warped so it isn’t completely square. There are also rough edges on the lip of the tank from the plastic being cut, and I think that adds to the friction of keeping the lid from coming off easily. The clear access door on the top works well, but it is just wide enough for me (female with small arms) to get my arm to the bottom of the tank. I recommend this if you can’t afford a glass terrarium or if you have a low maintenance critter that you don’t try to get out to hold, but it’s a big hassle if you’re trying to access things inside frequently.

> 3 daySo far this is perfect for our Monarch cats. We have 10 large cats inside with several branches of milkweed. It is easy to see inside and see when it needs to be cleaned. The square entry hole lid is very difficult to open, we have four cats ready to make their chrysalises, dont want to disturb them so we lightly taped it shut. It is big enough for an adults hand to fit inside with no problem, so that is good. Like other reviewers have said, the lid snaps on very tightly, dont know how we would get it off without disturbing the chrysalises, but at least we know they cant escape!

> 3 dayThe actual inside dimensions at the bottom are 13 75 long x 7.25 wide. The inside height from bottom to top lip is 11 inches. Even the paper inside the box has the wrong dimensions. The biggest error is in the width. The dimensions show on this page are with the cover on the top and since the box is beveled in design it is much smaller on the bottom. Im VERRY sorry I ordered this pet container.

Greater than one weekThis was a total life saver. After several mantis eggs hatching a few months ago I had them in different containers. Well out of nowhere and I didnt know another egg hatched and next think I knew I had all these babies in with bigger mantiss. So I took the larger ones out and I having another larger container was able to use this for the babies and then transferred them into the larger mesh container. However since so many of them didnt want to leave the container or were having a good time hanging on the lid, I left it in there for now. It was perfect for the new hatches. Great Value too!

> 3 dayThese tiny cages are usually the death bed of thousands of hermit crabs a year. One hermit crab needs atleast 10 gallons of space. Possibly more depending on how many you get. Please do your research before buying your hermit crab will die in this

> 3 dayIt has served well for my grandsons Hermit Crabs. He had got one when he was at the beach and then we found out you should not have only one crab because they like to cluster so we searched for a better habitat and found this one. It is great and his 3 crabs are very happy in their new home.
