This has been a wonderful addition to a constantly growing Lego collection for my two younger boys, currently aged 8 and 10. Both of them are big Harry Potter fans, and I think it took them all of about 2 hours to throw this thing together. As is typically the case with Legos... the quality is high, all the pieces are all there, and the instructions are clear and usable even for younger kids. I wish I had taken some pictures of it immediately upon it being constructed, because its been taken apart and put back together enough times now but I dont have the ability to get a good representative photograph! If your kids like Harry Potter, or theyre collecting Legos in general, this is a great addition to your collection.

This product is terrible!!

My 11 year old son loved this! It didnt take him long as hes a bit of a lego expert at this point but he really enjoyed building the set.

I grew up on old-school Lego bricks and am always amazed at how imaginative, interesting, and functional these sets are. Most 8 year olds are more skilled builders than I so I still find much of the assembly challenging (though nothing as hard as the ship in a bottle bottle!), but I dont mean that as a complaint. I enjoy the 3-D puzzle aspect that offers and dont mind having to take time to figure things out. This is a beautiful set and its more than just another vehicle (like the Knight Bus). I especially like the Beauxbaton horses (Do you know they drink only single-malt whisky?) and the carriage interior. Also always appreciate getting more minifigs. This is an excellent addition to the Harry Potter collection.

I have to say, this works up into a beautiful final project! Also as a H.P. nerd raising H.P. nerds this is quite the family gift! Of course while this was being assembled we had to watch the movie its from, which led to a rather magical afternoon! Aaannd now its being modified, imaginations at work! Thank you for a tremendous product!

Usually I put Star Wars and bigger machinery sets together, but wanted to give this a try as it is more of scene style set, and my daughter really wanted Hagrid and the winged horses. The set is a medium difficulty set, a good amount of very little pieces, and some complexity with the carriage. It comes with 4 unique not before released figures (in this clothing configuration): Hagrid, Madame Maxime, Fleur Delacour and Gabrielle Delacour, and 2 winged horses. The coolest feature is the opening of the carriage itself. It has a whole scene inside on its own. Definitely a set to own for any Harry Potter fan, and for those who missed the first run of Harry Potter Lego.
