LEGO Star Wars Slave l – 20th Anniversary Edition 75243 Building Kit (1007 Pieces)

The set was already open. When I pick it up to bring in my house all the legos fell out. It was not shipped in a box to protect it.

The Lego Set 75243 is a rather solid build that truly shows how far Lego has come in set design. At the purchase price of $119.99 (roughly $0.12 a piece) the set features Slave 1 (the infamous bounty Hunters starship) on top of Boba Fett, Han Solo, Zuckuss, and 4-LOM minifigures on top of the 20th Anniversary Leia and Han Solo in Carbonite. The ship itself is fun to play with, featuring an opening cockpit and a handle towards the rear of the ship to facilitate play, but frnakly I was a bit disappointed that the ramp depicted on the box is nothing more than a cap in the rear of the ship though. On top of that, the cockpit is the definition of simplistic, consisting of a seat and a tiny control panel. The set has twice the piece count of the most recent (non UCS) Ship, making it feel quite solid.... but I have to say that other than the different figures and bonus Leia this set doesnt really bring anything new to the table, considering there have been 5 other versions of this ship. Unless you are interested in the new minifigures or are a collector Id just recommend buying one of the older ships (particularly set numbers 6209 and 8097) on eBay for around half of the price...

Was missing multiple pieces and had the stickers if I didn’t have extra pieces I wouldn’t have been able to finish the build. You’re better off just going to Walmart for the same price.

Got to bring into where I work and the kids seemed to love putting together.

The Star Wars Slave I is an excellent Lego set. Like other Star Wars Lego sets this set is on the expensive side but it comes with 1007 pieces and several minifigures that my two boys love. The set comes with a collectible Princess Leia, as well as a Boba Fett, Han solo, Zuckuss, and 4-loom. The set is a little bit more complicated build then my 6-year-old could handle on his own but it was a great family build project. The ship is well designed and has a handle that makes it easy for kids to hold the ship while flying it around in pretend battles. Overall this is a great Lego set for all Lego and Star Wars fans.

BEAUTIFUL SET!! It’s a MUST HAVE for any Lego Star Wars fan. Very detailed and perfect for a display. Completely recommended.

My 10 year old absolutely loved putting this together. It took him between 3-4 hours. After assembly he can play with it and it stays put together relatively well. Like any LEGO set you are always having to rebuild when playing with it. He really likes the figures that came with the set and I find that he regularly carries them around with him.

The package came on time and as described by the seller. I am very thankful that I was able to find this Lego set for my son. He has been wanting it for a while

When all said and done, I was missing pieces for this build. Luckily, I could work around/hide the missing pieces, but I shouldnt have to do that. Over 1,000 piece Star Wars Lego Slave 1 Lego build and its missing pieces. Disappointing! Spent several hours putting this together to add to my Star Wars Lego Collection and LEGO cannot even provide all the pieces. They inevitably always include extra pieces in each bag, all be it small pieces, but extra pieces none the less. I just put them in a Tupperware container to use in the future if need be. But, to have several small extra pieces and not enough correct pieces is unacceptable. But, in the end, that is the risk you take buying Legos.
