The item was delivered as expected. The plastic it is made of is brittle and cheap feeling. More importantly it had a very strong chemical smell which made the whole house smell. I had to put outside and hopefully the smell will dissipate so that I can actually install in the house. Will complete review once installed

I had outgrown my existing media structure in the house. Purchased this and very happy with the purchase. Cut out a larger hole to accommodate the bigger size, and installed it. Great quality and happy with the range and quality of all the accessories as well.

Well worth the money for me, I added the additional trim ring as I was not happy with the rough cut drywall still showing. Got plenty of room for add on equipment. I also had to add some additional wood as this wall had 24 stud centers but is plenty sturdy and I still have access to the left side bottom cabinet.

Got this to replace an old 24 panel the builder had installed. Tons more space that allowed me to put the cable modem and router out of sight. Well ventilated too

Overall the box is good, but the hole used to mount accessories do not allow some other brands to be used. I had to use a 1/4 drill to add extra holes betweeen the existing ones to attach a some Legrand accessories. I did like the keyhole mount for the cover so I can just attach with the top two screws for quick access.

Our home came with an 18” on metal Onq box. It was not big enough for the 20 ethernet cables, 20 coax cables, and speaker wires. Upgrading was easy but I did choose to install the tabs on the drywall instead of trying to seat the box flush. The end look is still relatively clean (it’s in a broom closet) and made it incredibly easy to just cut the drywall to accommodate the box and screw it down. I was able to fit all the coax, a 24 port commercial switch, a surfboard modem, an EERO router, and a powerstrip in the box tightly but neatly. It would not have worked if I had chosen to energize and connect the coax as well (which I passed on since we don’t use it). Honestly I think I would run a separate box and fish the coax over if it comes to that. The hinged door is really nice for routers and things where restarts are sometimes necessary. The vented plastic means no signal loss and plenty of airflow. It does feel a bit flimsy and cheap (but still does look nice) but honestly it doesn’t get used that often so I don’t care. The organization system, shelves, and tie downs are solid and I have no concerns of anything snapping or falling.
