Love this little projector. Great picture, brightness is ok, especially for a portable wireless rechargeable projector. Only complaint I have is that every time you turn it on it defaults to the TV setting. We are using this in a conference room and do not have any Antenna hooked up to it. So the first thing you see every time you power it on is the static screen and static sound that you get when you do not have a TV signal. There is no way to change the default startup setting to one of the other inputs which is pretty sad in todays market. I would like to see LG put a firmware update out either allowing the device to remember the last INPUT setting it was on when powered down and power up to the last INPUT setting. Or change the device to allow you to set the default startup INPUT to anything other than TV. As I said that is my only complaint, great product otherwise. Perfect for our Conference room.

This projector is superb! Its like Im watching on a very HD LED tv. Portable and lightweight, all pack with almost everything you need. The only thing is, I don’t figure out how to connect through airplay, or maybe there is no airplay but miracast. Overall, I dont regret buying this projector, it is worth the price..

This projector should be great. It is a small portable size, has a built in battery and low fan noise. It has a few good apps from LG WebOS and has full HD native resolution. On paper this should be incredible, but sadly its not in my experience. LG must have cut costs by adding a very low powered processor inside. Everything runs very slowly, from changing settings to selecting apps, its very sluggish. Movie playback is smooth though and it plays most file formats. The killer for me is the audio. Its absolute garbage. A cheap portable $10 speaker from a corner store would sound better! When connected to a bluetooth speaker the sound is out of sync. You can calibrate it in the settings but doesnt make a big difference. The battery gets me only around 75 minutes which is also disappointing so I have it connected to a socket. Maybe I have a defective unit?

I bought this and was at first thrilled with it’s performance and as a projector it is great! However, I soon discovered not only is this not really compatible with any apple products (computers, tablets, or phones), or most mobiles without purchasing a $20 app (twice which I’ll elaborate on later), the LG smart tv Software didn’t support Prime Video and several other streaming apps I wanted. So no way to watch without hooking up a laptop or phone, both of mine are Apple so no dice. For the price they really need to update their software to be more compatible and expand their app market place. Also for projecting from mobile it encourages you to buy an LG app on Mobile, which costs $20 one time. Not bad, but when it didn’t work it encouraged me to buy another app again for $20, which ultimately was a clone of the previous app, also did not work on my iPhone. I asked multiple times for a refund, never got a response from either apps’ help desk. $40 in for two defunct versions of the same app.

I rarely write reviews but man, this projector is awesome! I dont feel much heat around the projector and the video quality is just fantastic. I highly recommend getting this product. Smart TV feature is absolutely a plus but I also use ChromeCast to cast NFL/NBA/PL games.

It works best in low light but works in daylight also.

Have had this projector for 8 months. Worked great for a while now says Internal Temperature Too High and shuts down after about 30 seconds of use. Very disappointing. In the laborious process of trying to get repaired thru LG 3rd party approved party. Not sure its under warranty as it was refurbished.

Ive owned this projector for years as a TV replacement. It has worked great, has many nice features, and has been trouble free. The only weak point is the brightness, which is limited to 600 ANSI Lumens. Now I am searching for an upgrade to 4K and at least 1500 ANSI Lumens, but those are still almost 3x the cost of this projector here. I will keep using this one until a good deal on a 4K upgrade is available. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who can control the amount of light entering the room. As long as you understand the brightness limitations you will not be disappointed with this purchase!

This thing is amazing. Its plenty bright for all but the most discerning eye, has a decent battery that lasts about 2 hours if you dont have it on Vivid and maxed the volume, and has both external Bluetooth audio and tons of input options! Ive used this at home, in a hotel in Mexico, in my backyard with a bedsheet... Its amazing. The throw is somewhere between standard and short but not so short as to make it unusable with non-tensioned screens. It has been tossed around in airport baggage, moved around 100 times, and I think my dog may have wacked it with her whip of a tail at one point... Keeps on going! Could you spend $500+ more for a slightly better product? Probably. Could you spend $5000+ for a premium product? Definitely. Is this good for a permanent home setup with a dedicated theater system/room? No. Will the AV snobs ever own this? No. But who cares what they think?? I can watch anything I want with a Chromecast, my phone, and a WiFi signal anywhere I want, on a 100 inch screen in passable HD with a JBL Flip filling the room and any reasonable flat surface.
