    Greater than one week

Exceeded expectations. Works very well in our setup. Pleasantly surprised at the uptime when running on the internal battery. Have attached a chromecast to it but the WebOS on this is pretty good. Very intuitive to use. Highly recommended

The pocture quality is excellent and this product deserves better review but my review of 4 is because its smart capability with Lg webos is a little complicated compared to Android tv..the remote makes it further complicated but with a very good image quality for a dark room makes it an excellent projector..i brought XGIMI mogo pro but compared to this LG product the XGIMi image quality is no way closer to LG.. please dont fall for false marketing from XGIMI

After using computer projectors for years, the LG CINEBEAM DLP Projector Model PF50KA is a great choice for either home / portable theater scenarios or for computer projection. It’s lightweight, portable, AND can run on the built-in battery for up to three hours. I can see a potential for temporary outdoor movie screenings in the summer, for office projection, and even home theater with a crisp white, flat screen. Note that I tested this in a semi-dark room on an empty bedroom wall. I don’t have a theater set up (yet). However, my main use for this device is as a portable computer projector to replace my old, broken Dell projector. The Good: - Easy to set up and use right out of the box - MANY input options—Ethernet, USB and USB-C, 2 HDMI inputs, and even an antenna input - Crisp, clear picture. My powerpoint presentation was crisp, and my Satellite TV picture was clean with no jitter or lag. - Good picture even in a light room The somewhat mediocre - There was a wizard to utilze the ‘magic’ remote that came with the box to control my DirecTV set-top box. The set-up options were less than stellar. It didn’t work. - Moving from input to input is cumbersome. It would be nice to be able to easily change inputs. - For an LED projector, this got HOT. I didn’t expect that. - The fan is at the top of the box, and the plastic isn’t rigid. Be careful when you pick it up—don’t do so with one hand or you may press on the fan. - Adjusting the screen size—there is NO way to adjust the screen projection size EXCEPT by placing the box closer/farther away from the screen. - Keystone adjustment is awkward. In general, I think this is a pretty sold choice for a projection device. I like the crisp, clear projection of my computer screen (my primary use case) and will also enjoy the TV/video options here.

This projector is superb! Its like Im watching on a very HD LED tv. Portable and lightweight, all pack with almost everything you need. The only thing is, I don’t figure out how to connect through airplay, or maybe there is no airplay but miracast. Overall, I dont regret buying this projector, it is worth the price..

First time purchasing a projector. Got this, along with a screen, to set up in the backyard for movie night or events. It works great, the fan is pretty quiet, and the app options are decent. This needs to be used in a very dark room, or outside after it is almost completely dark out. This mid-level projector is not bright enough for anything else. Now, once in a dark place, the picture is great and pretty easy to bring into focus with the sliding lever. You will want to get external speakers for a good experience. The on-board speaker is probably meant to be used for a short office presentation, not movies or sports.. I tried to hook up Bluetooth speakers for stereo sound, but I couldnt get the sound and video to link up, even when using the delay feature to try to help. It is a cool feature they included, and maybe it was just my speakers as an issue. I just hook up a Bose speaker via 3.5mm connection and it works perfect. The USB and HDMI options are nice. The on-board apps are nice, but I like to hook up my FireTV stick to have all my streaming options available. The USB slot will power the FireTV stick fine. I have not tested battery length, because I use it for long periods that I know I need external power. Overall, very happy using this as outdoor entertainment or as a 2nd TV projected onto the wall inside the house (in a darker room) to watch more than one game.

You cannot adjusts the side angle. So unless you mount this perfectly straight, it will be distorted.

When they say portable, they really mean portable. This smart projector fits is a one-hander. Its essentially a high definition smart TV in the form of an LED projector. We have it connected to our Fire TV Stick, but there are multiple options for connectivity, including an array of pre-installed services. Its ready to go out of the box. Image quality is phenomenal. Breathtaking. A 100 inch 1080p film (in your living room, or backyard, or anywhere -- its portable) really makes you stop to admire it. Sound is fine -- nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain about either. Bluetooth streaming of audio to better speakers is always an option. The battery only lasts 2.5 hours. Thats probably plenty in most circumstances. Ive yet to need to use the battery. Oh, and the bulb life is rated 30,000 hours. Thats a huge plus as well. Overall, you will be impressed with the clarity and warmth of the image. A dim room works best. Bright lighting or sunlight (even diffuse sunlight) will rob the image of its immediacy. But this is why movie theaters dont have windows.

Good small size, decent battery life, picture quality is excellent, lumens isnt too bad in a semi dark room and is more than adequate in a dark room (if you have dark walls and ceiling too then the contrast level would be outstanding). On medium/maximum energy saving mode the projector is super quiet. The connectivity is great, Bluetooth, WiFi direct/miracst etc, all seem to work quite well. Things I didnt like: Lack of any kind of optical zoom though I did know this before buying it so havent marked it down for that in my rating, Menu wont let you change region from US, and there seems to be no good reason for this, which means you cant set the time zone properly for it (which is a sillyoversight for what is ostensibly a travel projector), this may not be true of non-US bought ones, I dont know for sure, given that the option is there in the menu but just greyed out so you cant change it I would guess that other countries or an international model might allow you to change that country setting, Bluetooth audio does sometimes lag ever so slightly / goes out of sync, particularly when watching streaming videos, not as much when watching regular content, but to be honest I find this seems to happen with basically all Bluetooth speakers when watching streaming videos so to some degrees it may just be a limitation of the technology, also some people may not notice this as much anyway just I find Im quite sensitive to it and it bothers me so I just plug in speakers with headphone jack because it does have a line out option through that same headphone port which is good at least, (it also has an audio resync option in the menu but its a rather unwieldy automated affair that doesnt seem to work all that well, particularly when it comes to Bluetooth audio sync issues because the syncing issue usually isnt a steady difference, Minimum energy saving mode provides brightest picture quality but is also accompanied with louder fan noise. Its not an intolerable level of noise, but its definitely noticeable and so usually I use the medium setting or if my room is completely dark with dark non reflective walls then maximum is fine too. Even on minimum I would say it still is quieter than most other projectors I have heard though, The remote has waaaaay to many buttons that you dont need since everything can be adjusted by the software menu, yet weirdly is missing buttons that would be quite useful to have quick to hand (like changing the energy saving level with a click rather than having to go through the menu). Remote should be back lit but isnt :-S Sidenotes: I dont know what other people here have been complaining about with their issue of the unit going straight to TV when they turn it on instead of to the last used input, when I turn mine on it just goes to whatever I was last viewing, it could possibly be that theyre fully switching off the unit by pressing the button on the top maybe? I dont know, but basically if you use the remote to power up and down then you wont have this issue. Final thoughts: Theres room for improvement with this projector, its far from perfect... But if you want 1080p quality, with acceptable brightness and contrast when used in a dark space, good connectivity, and you want all that to be portable... Well then I dont think there are any better options than this out there at the moment.
