> 24 hourI have a thing for cases. Especially black nylon cases. A classmate of mine waltzed into class, whipped out this pen case, and selected a freshly sharpened No 2 pencil for the test we were about to take. My No 2 pencil (plus the spare I brought) were flopping loosely in my shirt pocket, risking falling out and breaking the lead, or jabbing me in the chin should happen I look down. Thats when I decided I needed a case for my pens and pencils. He sent me the link for case and I bought one. It is very convenient, has two pockets on the outside and a partition inside that provides four surfaces for pencils, pens, business cards, smartphone an many other things. It is finely made with quality products. A case for everything, indeed.

> 24 hourWhat can I say about this case? Im a pen/pencil freak. You other pen/pencil freaks out there know EXACTLY what one of our main problems is. We have too many pens/pencils and they end up in separate places. Invariably when you need a certain pen/pencil, it is of course, not in the case you have with you. After multiple instances of this, I thought that there HAD to be a solution to this problem. Well, seems like there is: I give you the Lihit Lab Triple Zipper case. Its sturdy, zippers look strong and sewn in well, it’s a nicely built product. Rather than blather on about it, just check out the picture with this review. EVERY thing in that picture fit into the case. Did it expand big and gaudy? Yes it did, but not the point where it feels that the stitching or zippers are becoming over stressed. I have room for 3 or 4 more pens or pencils. In case the picture doesn’t make it with the review, here are the details on my bags current holdings: 7 Wooden Pencils, 11 Mechanical Pencils, 5 Fountain Pens, 5 Ballpoint pens, 2 Pen Sized eraser holders,7 Brush pens, 10 Handheld erasers (6 Boxy, 4 Arch Foam), 7 packs of mechanical pencil lead (variable size and hardness), 2 Metal journal templates, 3 Hobinichi templates, an Ames Lettering Guide, a Line spacing template and the classic Eraser Shield. Wshew. Ill update this a little bit down the road, I’m curious about its durability. I think I’ll be happy, but we’ll see on down the road. Right now though, its easy to give it 5 stars. Heres to hoping it can keep em...

> 24 hourI really wanted to like this case because it has a nice design and gleaming reviews. Unfortunately, mine has a couple of flaws that I just can’t ignore. 1) The chemical smell. When I opened the plastic packaging, the pen case had the strongest chemical smell I’ve ever encountered in a new product. I tried airing it out for a while to give it a chance, but the smell just wouldn’t go away. I even tried leaving fabric softener sheets and baking soda packets inside. Months passed, and it still smells. It’s definitely less strong now, but it still bothers me. I tried putting my pens in there recently, and I could tell that the smell transfers easily onto certain materials. I’m not leaving my stuff in there. 2) Incorrectly positioned center flap. The center flap isn’t sewn into the same place as shown in the official photos. In the product photos, it’s on the left side of the internal spine, but in every customer photo, it’s on the right side. Why does this matter? Well, because the spine’s about 1.5 inches wide, the case offers a lot of space. But, all that thickness should be on the side containing the pockets, supposedly intended for larger items. In the real product, all the space is on the side intended for pens, and pens just aren’t that thick. This means that a) there’s a lot of wasted space, or b) the center flap has to bend awkwardly to let items fill the case’s depth. I don’t think this is just a fluke or counterfeit problem, because even JetPens’ photos shows the flap sewn into the right-hand side. Other thoughts and notes: * The material doesn’t seem great, in my opinion. It feels like they put cardstock inside the textile, making the walls and center flap feel cheap and “crinkly.” I prefer the “softness” of a couple of other nylon cases I have. * The tag says the item’s made in Myanmar. I like Lihit Lab’s designs, so I’m still going to try out their other cases. Hopefully this one just suffered poor manufacturing control.

> 24 hour2020 edit: the black version I originally reviewed in 2017 is still in use, looks great, zippers are fantastic. The blue one I bought in April of 2019 however just broke: one of the zipper heads fell off. While I can still use it, it seems like theres a quality difference between the versions with the black logo and the ones with the red logo. YMMV. Pros: * Lots of storage for a variety of sized objects * Flattish design (as opposed to the tube design of many pen/cil cases) * Dirt resistant material is easy to clean * Can use for a variety of different supplies: medical, tools, art, food, utensils, toiletries * Zips open to lay flat Cons: * Materials that pockets and flap are made of limit what can be stored * Interior color is drab * Zipper pulls are thin and can be hard to grip This is a nice case, but not as nice as I was hoping it would be. I purchased the black version which has a brown interior. The brown is more drab and darker than it seemed online (think dirt instead of leather), and I do wish it was a bit brighter, but its not bad. The material is somewhere between canvas and vinyl, and looks very nice. It seems to be dirt resistant (rolled it around outside and on my dog) and wipes off easily. The flattish design helps this fit in messenger bags and briefcases or other flat carry bags more easily than its rounder cousins. The flatness and the zipper that goes around 3 of the 4 sides makes the case lay flat when completely unzipped, which is especially useful. The zipper pulls are thin and smooth, and arent easily gripped by large, wet, or arthritic fingers. Id much prefer traditional round zipper pulls for virtually any storage, but especially if using this as art or medical storage. Lots of pockets and storage options, however the pocket lips arent stretchy and the mesh is only a little stretchy. It makes it difficult to store things that are awkwardly sized in the pockets. In addition, the center flap that serves as a separator also serves as storage. This becomes a problem because of the lack of stretch; filling both sides of this flap causes obvious bending of the stiffening material the flap is made of (see photos). These pockets seem to be designed to hold mostly thin, flat things like stickers, paper clips, lead, school erasers, etc. In my test, I put a Staedtler eraser, kneadable eraser, roll of washi tape, and a cheapo school eraser in these pockets, with a set of Copic markers on the other side. There was noticeable bending of the center flap making me wary of putting anything else in these pockets, or anything differently shaped/sized. This limits the effectiveness of this product for many artistic (or other) uses. If the pocket lips were stretchier and the flap was stiffer, this would be a non-issue. The center flap pocket is also not a rectangle, but more of a rounded rectangle. This makes the left and right sides of the flap have a shorter vertical storage space than the middle of the flap, so it will definitely limit what might be able to be carried there. I could fit only 5 Copic markers; a 6th would have stuck out and prevented the case from closing. See my photo; I have only 5 there, but you can see near the bottom of the photo [left side of the pouch when vertical] how the curvature of the pocket would prevent more being stored. The outer pockets are best for small, flat things that you wont mind that they might get lost. When fully packed, I couldnt put anything substantial in these pockets, and because they dont have any stretch Id be wary of putting anything not flat in them anyway for fear of breaking the seams or stretching the pockets out of shape. However, if I were using this as a desk storage pouch (as opposed to a travel one) these would be great pockets to store erasers or small rulers or post-it notes. For the price, overall its a nice little storage case. I hope this review helps someone else!

> 24 hourWas hoping to use this as a case for my drawing pencils- alas, its not long enough. This is much better suited for pens.

> 24 hourReally enjoying this pen case for carrying a lot of every day items (pens, flashlight, work key, additional keys, first aid, some otc meds, and additional credit cards). Ive been trying to slim down what I carry in my pockets to just phone, slim (3 card) wallet, and 2 keys. But I like to have several things with me just in case. So Ive been throwing anything additional that Id like to have near me into the case and the case I usually keep in the car or backpack. Really surprised at the durability and quality of the case. I wish there were a little more pockets and organizer. Please let me know if you guys design a case that is less pen/pencil oriented please!

> 24 hourI love this pencil case so much, it is perfect for school because it holds all my millines, pilot juice pens, and regular pencils, erasers, whiteout and all. I order the jet-black because the inside color is gray which is very pretty to me. I have ordered this one, the double, the triple, and the skinny and long one and this one here is my favorite by far. Holds everything I need and little more and with the double and triple I had the need to want to fill all the space making the case bulky. With the long one it was just harder to get the stuff I need quickly. I 100/10 recommend this product to everyone and even some of my classmates have bought them because of how awesome they look. I even gave one to a friend on there birthday and she still uses it and it has been almost 2 years.

> 24 hourI had one of these that I had purchased from JetPens, and I filled it with a ton of art supplies to carry with me in my bag, or on my travels. My best friend was always saying i need to get one of those!...so I got it for her! This bag has SO MUCH ROOM. I keep an assortment of pens/pencils (about a dozen assorted), about 6 small paint brushes, also my waterbrush, a small bottle of water, and a little water mister, 2 erasers (one with a pencil sharpener included), a small metal ruler, a small pair of scissors, a small box cutter, a small roller cutter thingie, a bone folder, 4 washi sample cards, several paper clips, several sheets of watercolor dots, a bunch of flake stickers, a glue roller, and im sure theres more in there but I cant remember everything. Im sure the thing weighs a couple lbs, but I dont mind as I have really anything Ill need! Its just a vault! Its compact though, so it still fits easily in my bag.

> 24 hourI had been looking for the perfect bullet journal pen case for a long time, and this one is just sooo close to what Ive been looking for, but doesnt quite fit the bill. The good: I really like how it zips all of the way open, had slots for the important pens (I color coordinate my tasks and habits using 11 colors, so having those pens in an easy-to-reach place was important), and has extra storage in the back for all of my other pens that I use to decorate. I also like the pockets on the back of the flap, which is not something I was searching for, but is a good place to keep tabs and white out. Its compact and easy to fit in my bag and I really like the brown color. It seems well made-- Ive been using and abusing it for around 8 months now with no signs of use. Everything is still in place and the outside material makes it difficult to stain, which is pretty cool. The not-so-good: However, this case isnt quite perfect. Ive been using it for around 8 months now and I think Im going to try to look for a different one. The thing that bothers me the most is the strap that holds pens to the left of the flap. It seems to look so tight in the pictures, but it is actually very loose. Its very difficult to keep my other important pens down without something behind them to raise and tighten the strap, so I have to keep a bunch of other pens I dont need behind them just so they can stay in place (which they honestly still dont very well). It makes it very messy and difficult to grab the pens I need. I wish the flap had two sides that look like the front because that has the perfect straps. That was all very difficult to explain, but Ive attached pictures to show what Im talking about. Also (less important issue), when you put things in the back pockets that arent just flat (like my white out), it makes the flap bulge out a bit. Not that big of a deal, but I cant really think of anything less bulky to hold in the pockets. So if these things were fixed (specifically my first issue), then this would be the perfect bullet journal case.

> 24 hourIm quite impressed with this case. I bought it to hold all of the tools and office supplies that I need to keep in my tool kit in one place. For $12, this is an incredible value. Time will tell how well the fabric and zippers will hold up to what will probably be fairly heavy use, but the product seems fairly well constructed, so it will probably hold up well. I will edit this review if that does not end up being the case. This case has ample storage, for my needs. I keep a total of 16 assorted pens and markers in the two portions of the pouch dedicated for pens and markers (see photo 4). In the next section of the pencil case, I keep some post it notes and flags, as well as extra mechanical pencil lead and erasers (see photo 5, left side). In the fourth, final, final section, that is meant for storing larger objects, I keep the following: More post it notes, a pair of travel scissors, a small fixed blade knife, a utility/craft knife, and spare blades for the utility knife (see photo 5, right side, for a view of these objects in the case, and object 6 for a view of them out of the case). See photos 1-3 for photos of the exterior of the case with a ruler for scale. My one minor complaint about this case id that the middle flap on its hinge doesnt quite line up when closing the case. This isnt a huge deal and only adds the slightest amount of extra effort to close the case, but it is not something that I would even consider to be even a minor issue. Overall I love this case. It looks great, and is great value for money.
