> 3 dayWhen ordering these, I wondered if it was going to be too much heat. Up till now, I have only used heat lights. Not the case, it’s not over powering. It’s actually smaller than I expected, which is a good thing. The positive for me is, I am making a heat source for my dogs on cold nights, without the lights. I’m sure the dogs will appreciate that.

> 3 dayThese heating lights are perfect for keeping our bearded dragon warm at night during the winter since we like to keep the house cool at night. His tank is 75 with this heat lamp while keeping it dark. Our beardie no longer wakes up too cold.

> 3 dayThese bulbs make a nice heat source for chicks. I got the 60 W bulbs and setting up just one of them worked well for the six chicks we needed to keep warm in our house. If we were to keep much more than that I would either set up more than one bulb or get the higher wattage ceramic bulbs. I kept a digital thermometer in the box with them at first just to make sure I got the temperature right and had the bulb set at the right height. Some observations and adjustments are required for these to work well but no more than what you would need to do with a traditional red heat lamp from tractor supply. I don’t prefer those because in our case they are just way too hot and too much of a fire hazard. It should be noted that these ceramic bulbs don’t emit any light so one would need to provide another source for light for the chicks to be able to eat and drink during regular daylight hours.

> 3 dayWe have a Ball python named Bubbles and these ceramic lights are perfect for her tank. Our house isnt always super warm, and this helps her tank not get too cold at night. If you prefer natural lighting for your reptile tanks these ceramic bulbs are worth trying.

> 3 dayThis works pretty well. Keeps my lizard warm incase a bulb runs out and i cant make it to the store fast enough. Doesnt put out an extreme amount of heat but would do well in addition w other bulbs incase you needed to bump the temperature up some.
