I wanted an easier way to switch my new monitor lights (two thin lights mounted over my two computer monitors) on and off. The lights have touch buttons but I preferred something that was easier to reach and switched both lights on and off. The LoraTap works perfectly. I plugged it into an outlet on my UPS, plugged the two lights in with a USB adapter (the lights are USB powered) and put the switch on my desk. It works perfectly. The transceiver was paired out of the box but the included User Manual includes pairing instructions in case it is ever necessary. It uses a common CR2032 watch (flat) battery which came pre-installed. A mounting plate is included with peel and stick adhesive strips (LIKE Command Strips) to enable mounting the switch on a surface. About the only thing I can think of that might make it better would be some sort of luminescent cover to make it easier to find in dimly lit/dark rooms. I would highly recommend it. In fact I did. My son just installed his. I would buy another one if I had a requirement for a wireless remote switch.

Easy to set up and worked perfectly. The control had a nicely thought out design. The plug didnt fit in my one power strip but it fit in another one so thats something to consider. I noticed there were helpful videos on the internet for this product in case you needed to pair the remote or change the batteries.

I bought this product so I did not have to keep crawling under my desk at work to turn my space heater on and off. It fit the bill perfect. So much easier having the on and off button magnetically attached above the desk top. My co-workers were jealous. I would not be surprised if they are purchasing them for themselves.

It does not require a grandson to install. I use it to control an overhead light in my garage. It works so well, I plan to order more units. I have since ordered more and they all work great. The one thing Id like to see is for the receiving unit to be a little smaller. I use it in a double duplex socket and the size of the receiver impedes the adjacent outlet.

Good for its purpose but they need to add alexa integration and also an app. It does not connect to wifi. I have it in my garage controlling shop lights.

This little thing is perfect for my needs. I hope it doesnt stop working as other reviewers have said because I love it.

As a guy who loves lamp lighting, I love being able to turn on three in my living room at the same time. This product is super easy to set up and install. Got one and then immediately bought another for my bedroom as well. The only drawback is the plug adapter is a bit bulky, however it does not block off use for a second outlet (i.e. you can use the other socket when the adapter is plugged in).

Using this to control some new LED lights I attached to the garage ceiling. I used a two receptacle outlet on my garage ceiling. One of the receptacles was occupied by the plug for my garage door motor. A standard, 3-prong plug. Placing this mini adapter in the remaining receptacle was an extremely tight squeeze, resulting in things not being nearly as secure as Id like. The magnets that hold the remote onto the wall are not very strong. I can see this getting knocked loose to smash on the concrete floor of the garage. Edit: It seems the transmitter in this may interfere with the receiver for my garage door opener. Im going to test it out and if thats the case this gets returned. Functionally the remote works great.

I was able to use this to control two lamps I have. I can plug in a 2-prong plug at the top of my outlet, but I would NOT recommend trying to force a 3-prong plug. Other than the plug issue, I would recommend this for your low power drawing appliances, I have not tried this out with my kitchen appliances.
