MagLite - ST3D016 Maglite LED 3-Cell D Flashlight, Black

Yes, it is true that the flashlight leaves a black circle when you force the light all the way out but it really is not a nuisance to me. We have been through many flashlights over the last 30 years and the mag flashlights are the only ones still remaining in my camping cabinet. These were purchased for my family vehicles. Sometimes a small flashlight is not enough. Especially if you break down and have to walk somewhere. Yes, the flashlight is heavy but remember there are three D size batteries in it. Any flashlight with that many batteries will be heavy. It definitely serves the purpose I intended. I tested it out in the state park where I live, and it is very dark back there. It lit up the woods they way I wanted it too, especially if my children break down at night. It does not however, have a spare bulb. Only the krypton bulb flashlights comes with a spare. So, if you read some of the other reviews read them closely as the Led does not have one.

I ordered 3 pcs of this flashlight [-everything went smoothly, especally the shipping (International) Instead of 8-14days I got it in 4 days.] The lamps are very good, tough, reliable. But I have a few thing which I dont like: -The paint is easily scratched (with normal use-outdoor,work,...) - flashlights tain gets very easy scratched (even by touching with one finger or cotton cloth) -I coudnt figure out, how to change LED light source-maybe its not mountable I recommend these to anyone, who want a good-quality, reliable lamp for tough use.

led bulb is killer!

Awesome light! Bright and has a far reach! Also serves as a great home protection device. Way better than the older ones

great price for this classic flashlite, the LED is bright, It really lights things up. I carry one in each of our cars, great for a defensive weapon also.. finish is top of the line...and it always works when you need it.

This appears to be a standard three D-cell MagLite. It is emphatically not. It is the brightest flashlight I have. I do wish that it had a low intensity setting to stretch batterylife. But given the choice of bright vs dim, Ill take bright. It is beautifully made, and balances well in my hand. Really superior product, and its made right here in the USA.

Bright flashlight very well made

Killer flashlight very bright and the weight is perfect beam focus is way better than the old school mag beam gets tight and is round and not off shaped?!?!?!

If you need a good flashlight for the house this is prefect. It has a bright bulb and can take a beating if it gets tip over on the kitchen counter or wherever you store it. I am very satisfied with the product for the price. So satisfied I bought two more for my mothers house and my elderly aunt.

Excellent flashlight. Heavy duty and had a broad Beam that can be focused.
