I can now read a whole page in my Bible without my eyes burning. I like it.

The product is good for enlarging some regular, small print. The lighting is very helpful. But the product is not good for the real fine.looking print. That printing just looks like enlarged dots. Would need a stronger magnifier for the ‘dot’ looking print.

Easy for my mother to use

Just received this and its really nice. Easy to hold and the light is a great feature. I only gave 4 stars because the pamphlet that comes in the box offers an additional 2 year warranty, but if you go online to fill out the product registration, the page is no longer available. I did go on their website and tried, several times, to fill out the form but nothing happens - its disappointing.

The magnifier is quite light to hold, although I find that it can become uncomfortable if held for long periods of time (Im a woman in my 60s and do not have the strongest hands). The lighting is excellent, with a combined on/off dimmer dial thats easily accessible. The only problem that Ive encountered is that the battery compartment is located on the backside of the protruding handle/tab. The battery compartment has a loose friction-fit sliding door. When holding the device, ones fingers are held against the battery compartment door. The door keeps sliding open while you are holding the device and reading. You can overcome this by being careful, but its a bit of a nuisance.

This was perfect. It boosted my ability to read fine print and helped me see to read all the small print I needed to understand

WIth age goes the sight, but this is the push back. WOW. I am amazed at the practicality and over all build of this product. I find myself using this over and over in everyday life. I am now going to purchase two for my mother and father.

Magnifier takes some practice.when reading a book. At first awkward, but afterwhile it worked for me more smoothly for reading the whole line of text and on to thenext line.

I just got it so havent used it long. I thought the lights would be annoying but they dont seem to be. I like that there are 3 choices and off. Magnification is very good. If I use it under a light fixture I can see the reflection of the fixture. But I could easily read the newspaper etc without reading glasses which was the goal. I read a lot of reviews of different products. I didnt think I would like lights but others mentioned shadows so I changed my mind. I think it will be very helpful.
