This magnifier is very good and easy to use. The only problem is that the cover for the batteries is somewhat loose and doesn’t look properly.

I love it. It has helped me completely yo reas documents and prescription b ottjes.

The light is good. brightness sometimes is too bright and washes out the print. Magnification could be better.

My wife and I live in Southeast Louisiana (New Orleans) and have to be prepared to evacuate our home because of an approaching hurricane. Because of numerous natural roadblocks around us that limit the number of possible evacuation routes out of the city, such as the Mississippi River, Lake Pontchartrain and other connected lakes, bayous, swamps and wetlands, it is of critical importance for us to pre-plan and know how to drive to our primary or secondary evacuation routes, as well as how to get to emergency back-up evacuation routes we can take to get out of the city. There are also only three possible evacuation directions in New Orleans; west (to family in Houston, TX), east (to family in Athens, GA), or north (to family in Louisville, KY). In case of bumper-to-bumper traffic jams that slow the progress of your evacuation to a crawl, or even a complete stop in the event of a multiple-vehicle accident, vehicles engines overheating and stalling, or vehicles running out of fuel because the driver forgot to fill-up before leaving, having those multiple escape routes in all three directions is a must. To help with that process, I prefer to use the most current Rand McNally State road maps in their Easy-to-Fold style because they are covered with a heavy duty plastic that you can write on with erasable color markers to highlight the specific evacuation routes with one color for primary routes, a different color for secondary routes, and a third color for emergency escape routes that might have less traffic than the better known and regularly used routes. As my birthday cakes continue to crowd more and more candles on their top, growing brighter and brighter with the passing of time, my eyesight, unfortunately, seems to be getting dimmer and dimmer. I now need at least 3X power magnification to be able to see and read the road maps clearly, and if it is at night or overcast daytime weather when Im using these maps. This page magnifier works very well for me, enlarging the small print typeface used on most maps so I can read them much more easily. It brightens my maps for these getting older eyes and dots all the is and crosses all the ts for my magnified illumination needs. I am so glad I bought it. The product is good for enlarging some regular, small print. The lighting is very helpful. But the product is not good for the real fine.looking print. That printing just looks like enlarged dots. Would need a stronger magnifier for the ‘dot’ looking print.

On one hand, this is made of plastic BUT on the other hand, it does make it light weight, considering the user has to hold it while reading. The size and weight makes it ideal for reading books, etc. Because it is plastic, it is less expensive than similar items using glass.

Magnifier takes some practice.when reading a book. At first awkward, but afterwhile it worked for me more smoothly for reading the whole line of text and on to thenext line.

Just received this and its really nice. Easy to hold and the light is a great feature. I only gave 4 stars because the pamphlet that comes in the box offers an additional 2 year warranty, but if you go online to fill out the product registration, the page is no longer available. I did go on their website and tried, several times, to fill out the form but nothing happens - its disappointing.

Easy for low vision person to use… light weight, bright led lights, easy grip, light switch easy to use…Good magnification!
