> 24 hourBright. Diffuse light is helpful. Not a focused beam flashlight.

> 24 hourWorks great. It seems like it will not do well if it is mishandled but so far it is my favorite light. I have invested in Makita battery tools and so far I am happy with the choice.

> 24 hourSuper versatile light- love it. Even with my 10 yr old 3.0 batteries that dont hold a charge like they used to, the light lasts forever.

> 24 hourI use it a lot for my Plumbing and Heating repairs in dark places. LED lights do not drain the battery that fast, so a few hours of work is not a problem with any of the 18 volt batteries. If you want something to light up a large area, like under the hood of a car while working on a wide range, then this is not enough lumens.

> 24 hourIm changing all the electrical fixtures in the house and this handy device has been great. I was on the fence on whether I wanted this device with its unidirectional light vs. the DML806 with is 360° light. Now that Ive used the DML801, I think I made the right choice. I like being able to direct the light onto what youre working on and not into your eyes as well. I can work for several hours with the light and its still above 75% power with a 2.0 mAh battery. The articulation of the light is great enabling you to get the light precisely where you want it.

> 24 hourThrows bright, clean light, its lightweight, infinitely adjustable and stands on its own, great for working under the car, around the shop and for a backup emergency light in the house. Winner.

> 24 hourIve had this light for just over 18 months and absolutely love it. This has been one of the few tools that Im 100% satisfied with - after a year and a half of steady use I honestly cant think of an improvement that Id make to it. Its plenty bright, has crazy endurance using 3AH batteries - I cant tell you how long it runs on a charge because Ive never had to switch batteries during a single day of work or a single period of usage. Ive used it in the rain doing emergency truck repairs, in 130 degree summertime attic spaces and 0 degree winter nights, Ive dropped it from 5 or 6 feet onto concrete and from 2 or 3 feet into mud. Couldnt be happier.
