Prefer Malwarebytes Premium compared to free version because of full-time monitoring for malware from Internet sites.

I have used Malwarebytes for several years and have seen it improve with successive iterations. I think it is strong in preventing all sorts of malware infections, including PUPs, which I observed were ignored by Norton. The product support team is diligent in solving user issues, though perhaps a bit slower during this pandemic. I highly recommend Malwarebytes.

The box I received from Amazon - was empty. No software_key_card in the box. I have no idea who is at fault. Maybe a manufacturing problem at Malwarebytes with the machine thats supposed to put the card in the box. Maybe the problem was at Amazon. Perhaps an unscrupulous employee snaked the card from the box, replaced the tape seal with a new one. I dont know. But, what I do know is that I reported this problem to Amazon and to Malwarebytes. Amazon proved me the option of returning an empty box. What good would that have done? How would that prove that the software_key_card was missing upon arrival? Only Malwarebytes would know if I installed the product and then ACTIVATED it. So, Malwarebytes provided the missing key/license/activation code. Thanks to them, I now have a working, licensed edition of their product I can use.

I combine this with Kaspersky every year. They work well together. I had difficulty adding it to one of my remote laptops that is on a VPN with its own brand of antivirus but finally got it to sync up.

Love Malwarebytes. Its auto run feature at startup takes care of any issues. the pricing package was great and will keep using them.

Purchasing MalwareBytes Premium software that is licensed for 5 devices cost less on Amazon than if you purchased the same product directly from MalwareBytes. You will need to open a MalwareBytes account if you dont have one already. From within your account register the license. And that is it. You will be able to add and delete devices at will on their site. When it comes time for renewal get the new license from Amazon if MalwareBytes doesnt give you a good renewal deal. Hell of a product. Mandatory for boxes I work as its very effective and catches different types of viruses however, I still use A/V kinda the belt/suspenders approach in addition to some flavor of UTM box if possible.
