Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Home Speaker, Black

This little speaker has some big sound. PROS: Sound Quality, bass&treble adjustment knobs, built in subwoofer, sleek vinatge look, auxiliary plug, Bluetooth, App works flawlessly, is LOUD as hell. Cons: None to date In summary for this price you cannot find a speaker like this. Though i cant speak on the lifespan this little guy really did blow me away.

What you need to know when considering this speaker, is that it is very much an indoor speaker. It is powered, not portable (i.e., no rechargeable battery) and no water resistance. It has a really nice, full, well rounded sound. I doubt bass fans could do any better. That is not to say that this speaker is all about bass, it just handles it better than most. It is a very powerful speaker for its size, which almost goes without saying, but there, I said it. It is not just loud but sounds good at high volumes and low. I particularly like that it has gain control which you do not see often in blue tooth speakers, and then typically in much more expensive speakers, so you can tune it to your liking if you do not like the tuning out of the box. However, Marshall does tuning out of the box well. We have... a lot of equipment. My husband is a recording musician, and I spent years in alternative radio. There is definitely music we have which has not sounded better. I was/ am surprised that it does not have aptx, and that is my only complaint, but I have not noticed a lot of loss in detail, and the speaker does have aux in, so the entire issue can be sidestepped. This is really one of the better speakers to listen to rock and roll. I think it is what Marshall does best, and they do it very well.

I like how easy it is to use. I like how it has that old Amp look. This unit has great sound. I like how the dial lights up Red for the different switches. This will be a addition to our back deck this year.

Oh boy. This is where the phrase comes to play. You get what you pay for!!! OMG let me tell you. I do make my own music and play on many different radios till it sound right. At least I think it right. Until this happened. I get this speaker and I plug it in. I installed the app. I turn on the music and its like Marty McFly all over again. The quality of the music just blew me away. I though I had bass in the music but no. This speaker just brought out everything in my music and much more. It like I never really heard my own music before. My wife and kid is not at home and you think I am going to let them use this? No way. I never see it again. Its that good. To mee it worth every penny. I know guitar amps named Marshall and they are really good too and this one is awesome. Dont belive me then hear it for your self. The ability to tune the sound like I was on a soundboard of a studio. Really !!!

This is a little brother to the bigger version of this speaker you see on the pictures. They pair for a full stereo sound system and sound amazing together! Marshall shows amazing attention to detail and top quality in everything they did, everything you see and touch, even the packaging and the wrapping is just done to the level youd expect form this company. Definitely 5 star product, in every way!
