Mary Ellen Products 60041-1 startch, Scent Free, 16 Ounce

I love Mary Ellens Best Press. Not sure getting through Amazon was the best idea as the bottle leaked and I lost about 1/2 cup. It was packaged in a plastic bag so it didnt leak through onto anything, but such a sad waste.

So glad I ordered this! Personally, I like it much better than the homemade stuff. Worth the money for best end result.

I could not get this product Locally in this size, a bit pricey but was spending more money on the smaller size. Quick ship.

Saves money just pour in your own spray bottle as needed.

Im the one who does the ironing in our family, and I used to use a ton of spray starch on my jeans and shirts back in the day. My wife had some of this stuff from a quilting project so when I ran out of starch one day I asked if I could try this product. It works better than spray starch, no residual flakes or stuck-on residue like the aerosol spray starch. I order it 2 gallons at a time and the weight of the fluid makes shipping pricey, but the product is very much worth it.

Hard to find at the fabric and craft stores in my area of late; rarely in the gallon size, never in the unscented. Has become very pricey over the years, but the precision when cutting and machine piecing quilt blocks with small pieces suffer without it. Starch and sizing combined in this product seems to give just the right amount of crispness not stiffness.

I like this product. Ive used it before; problem is, I noticed that the level of product has dropped in the bottle and I havent used any, yet. The plastic bag that the bottle came in when shipped is now filling up with liquid. The bottle must have a small leak, but I cannot tell where the leak is coming from. I bought it before i needed it, but now it seems like a waste of money.

I am a quilter--and love the product, I am disappointed in the fact that I ordered scent free but received citrus instead!
