I dont like the fact that I could not find a material safety data sheet (MSDS) or safety data sheet (SDS) anywhere. I would like to know what the ingredients of this product are. They arent on the label, and the SDS is not to be found on the internet.

This product is great with ironing for getting wrinkles out of fabric and prepping it for cutting. I go through a lot of this while making a quilt. So happy to have found a gallon amount.

My wife uses this all the time, glad that I was able to find it in the gallon size, great value for the money.

I use this to stiffen my quilt fabrics before I cut them. The starch keeps them from stretching, and is especially useful when working with fabric that has been cut in the bias. I like the scent free version, but I have also used the scented.

This is better than spray starch for stabilizing scraps, which I use for creating patchwork. It doesnt scorch or mess up your iron.

Im addicted to Mary Ellens Best Press! As a quilter, I use it all day, every day. Its not stiff, doesnt clog or dirty the bottom of my iron, doesnt scorch, and leaves my fabrics looking beautiful! You will love it, too! And I always find the best prices for it here on Amazon. Its at least $10 more expensive at my local quilting stores and I cant find it anywhere else. Another reason I love Amazon - usually the best prices for the things I use on a regular basis.

I love Best Press. I use it in quilting. It even takes out the center crease in fabric that has been folded forever. My daughter-in-law ironed her husbands shirt, and he said it was the best feeling starched shirt he has worn.

This stuff is awesome! I have been trying to remove wrinkles from quilters cotton. I have tried the hottest setting on my 1700W iron with steam, sprayed water directly on the fabric then ironed, ironed the same spot over and over, and ironed right after removing from the dryer. No matter what I tried there were still wrinkles in the fabric. I saw this product on a youtube video and decided to try it myself. I AM AMAZED! I lighly sprayed my fabric and hit it with the iron and VOILA the wrinkles were completely gone. I will never sew again without this stuff.

Everyone has their favorite, and Mary Ellens Best Press is mine. It is much better than the generic spray starch and more effective than the other higher priced sprays that I have tried. It really helps me with the precision of piecing my quilt tops.
