These are great! Sturdy with nice pictures. Good size for small hands. My granddaughter loves them! (She’s 2)

My almost 2 year old loves this product! She loves animals and has a big interest in magnets so that’s why I purchased and she played with it all day when it came in. She uses them as magnets or just plays with them as animals. They are durable but if your littles put everything in their mouths like mine do, the animal pictures are going to eventually fade away because of the paper/hard cover book like material.

Love these! My son is 2.5 and loves naming all of the animals, and attempting to make all of their sounds. You get 20 animals, and each one is pictured on the back of the wooden holder (which is GREAT when you don’t have all 20 but can’t remember which one is missing). If you have a toddler, you’ll totally lose some. They have a strong hold and don’t slide around. The pictures are adorable. We like to group them in different ways: water animals, barn animals, house animals, zoo animals… etc. you can count them, group them by color/number of legs/wings, etc. I also make little groups of similar types of animals, then add one that’s completely different and see if he can figure out which one doesn’t belong. Seems advanced for a 2 year old, but he loves that game! Highly recommend these, especially with the M&D magnetic ABCs set! Have fun using them together. Hope this helps! ☺️

My 1 year old is in love with these!

My baby enjoys these and they are cute but they do not stand a chance with a toddler who puts everything in their mouth. He also drags these all over the house lol. Some of the magnets are peeling but I knew this was going to happen because I read reviews. I bought them because I wanted fridge magnets delivered the next day. Overall, I’m happy with them.

These magnetic forces are bad for my fridge. Not enough magnetism. It sticks to the fridge for a while and then it comes off

I excepted a better product from Melissa and Doug. The colors are ok but not that appealing. The figures all have a large outer outline rather than being cut precisely. The box is very small. My granddaughter (two-year old) prefers to play with her other magnets better.

My husband and I just threw a birthday party for our son, who just turned a year old. He received this magnet set as a gift. We have purchased several Melissa and Doug brand products, so we were confident that he would like it. He absolutely loves it. He enjoys being able to dump them out of the box, examine each animal, place it on the fridge, and after a while put them back into the box one by one. The magnets are good quality and the pictures of the animals are clean and crisp and absolutely adorable. They are also sturdy and not easy for little ones to bend and break them. Our son enjoys playing with them. He does not have any problems trying to remove them from the fridge. The magnets are also a great educational tool. When playing with them, we will tell our son what type of animal is on the magnet he is currently playing with and then make the animal sound associated with that particular animal. We cannot always supervise our son easily in the kitchen, so we make it extra fun by getting out a cookie sheet and putting it out in the living room so that he can have more time to play with the set. It keeps him entertained for a long time. We happily recommend the set to anyone looking for a gift or toy for their child or young relative!

Ive had these for about two weeks. My one year old plays with these often. However, the images have already started to rub off on several of the magnets.
