My son enjoys this puppet!

Very good buy. My son loves him, and also the stick helps a lot. Affordable and seems to be made of strong material. Just wish the clothing was detachable.

I bought Melissa and Doug puppets and costumes for my 3 year and 5 year old grandchildren. The adults and children loved them. The quality of these puppets and costumes are wonderful. The great grandmother loved watching the children dress up and play on Christmas Day. The only thing I suggest is that for a child 3 and under you may want to pull the stick out of the hand. (it comes off with just a bit of a tug and does not hurt the puppet) although my grandson did find the sticks and used them as magic wands. I suppose I didnt hide them well enough. If you buy the same puppet and the costume together it makes a lovely gift.

This puppet is fantastic! Its the one used in the video so our son knows the way he speaks and his language. It is so entertaining for kids and brings such a smile to an adults face.

My 10 year old wanted this and he was very happy. The mouth area where u place the hand is a little stiff and hard to move at first, at least for a kid, but he still liked it.

Purchased for my nephew and he absolutely loves it! Chef Juan is now part of the family. Great gift!

For the price, you really cannot beat the quality of this puppet. I bought this to entertain my toddler, which is exactly what it did (after a short period of him being afraid of it). I have rather large hands, and was able to put my hand in the puppet and work it, only having to remove the red scarf to get my hand in there. My wife had no trouble whatsoever getting her hand in and was able to use it as well. So, it will accommodate large hands, but just barely.. and small and average hands should have no trouble at all. The puppet looks just like the picture, and the seams and fabric all appear to be high quality. The red scarf attaches/detaches with Velcro making it simple to take off and put on. The only suggestion I have is, if you child is under 2, do not just pop this puppet on and start talking to him with it. It might scare the heck out of him.. (yes, in my excitement I did exactly that and my poor soon backed away quickly with a frightened look on his face) Instead let your child explore it before you try to use it.
