The PC itself is great. Using mine with pfsense. I did have a ram stick die shortly after getting things running, but the seller actually responded pretty quick and resolved the issue.

Runs OpnSense like a champ. So far it is solid and fast, and Im not seeing any heating issues. I DID buy an 80mm USB fan to set on top of it, but I really think that is overkill unless you are running multiple end-to-end VPNs or IDS/IPS that is keeping the CPU spiked. So far Im very happy with this device.

Got >1gbps internet service but didnt want to use the xfinitys router. Was skeptical of this thing, but it worked great. Installed opnsense and everything pretty much just worked.

The first unit received, purchased during a lightning deal, had a hardware flaw that would not allow me to boot or install any peripheral. After a short and painless support ticket concluded that it was nothing to do with memory, hard drive(s), or install media being used it was returned.

No issues. Item arrived much quicker than I expected. I got the bare bones version as others complained about getting misconfigured systems. This also allowed me to get specific RAM and HD and was less than the pre configured one.

I was surprised to see that PFSense 2.6.0 was installed, but I wiped the drive and did a fresh install of PFSense. Setup was easy and getting it online just took minutes. My old router needed to be rebooted every couple of weeks, Im hopeful this firewall setup will be more stable!

Setting this up as a router with OPNsense and AT&T Fiber internet. I did not know this until after but there is a compatibility issue with the Intel I225-V nic and one of the gateways that AT&T Fiber uses for GPON/ONT setups (Pace 5268AC). It will not negotiate at all and is essentially dead. This can be worked around by placing a switch between the gateway and this device.

I am currently using this to serve up my homes internet using PFSense. It easily handles my homes 1GBps internet service. The latest speediest.net I ran got me 970Mbps Down. It also has been completely stable; uptime is around 90 days right now. It also sips power; I had an hourlong power outage the other day and it was efficient enough to keep running on its UPS until the service was restored.
