> 3 dayFor the price I thought I was getting a stainless steel part, but its all aluminum. It works so far.

> 3 dayIts more expensive than the alternatives, but the quality is worth it by far. Id buy this again, and the customer service is great so no worries there! Also, it does not have the extrusion issues that the cheaper ones have, no extrusion inconsistencies.

> 3 dayThis went on my cr10 smart. Came from an all metal creality and so far its been a night and day difference. Beautiful machining and the fit was perfect. 130 esteps were recommended I ended up at 139. The recommended retraction settings were spot on for my petg. I was only able to run 30mm a second before with the creality extruder before stripping filament but now I can run 45 and that made all the difference. One thing I didnt care for is they recommend to bevel the bowden tube and it was extremely tough to get it aligned/clocked correctly. I ended up just cutting it smooth and running it right up to the end of the exit tunnel and it feeds through fine. I suspect this will make tpu prints much easier as well so Im excited to try them. Definitely a great upgrade that I wish Id bought in place of the creality.

13-04-2025The original extruder had worn to the point where it refused to feed filament. This is a great drop in replacement of higher quality IMO. Worth the money!

> 3 dayThe Idea to use a brass crush ring to hold the boden tube in was a bad one. It works well but these tubes wear out and with no spares and No instructions on the Size of the crush connector to buy more Youre in for a world of Hurt if you ever have a issue with your Boden tube. The extruder works alright Doesnt seem worth the price It is High quality but I havent noticed a Huge difference between this and a cheap aluminum duel gear.

> 3 dayMy Anycubic Predators came with a 3:1 gear ratio extruder, which had gears and bearings and a lot of parts. The original extruder had a very high steps per mm (430), which gives it great resolution. One of the bearings disintegrated and I bought the micro swiss extruder to replace it. The micro swiss has a lot lower steps per mm (139), which is a lot less resolution, but it is built really well and has a lot less parts. For what i do, i favor reliability over precision. Time will tell, but im betting that the all-metal construction and simplicity will make it last longer than the OEM extruder. After printing with it, i dont see a noticeable difference on the benchy between the original extruder and the micro swiss. I have a feeling that the lower steps per mm on the micro swiss are still high enough to prevent visual defects. Seems like a great value to me!

Greater than one weekThis is so good it wont start clicking when your hot end starts to clog. It can chew up the filament when that happens enlarging the filament a bit more than 1.75! Thats a problem if youre using Capricorn tubing . I switched to ptfe tubing at 2.0mm ID up to the hot end. I do like this extruder over the Creality single gear.

> 3 dayInstallation took less then 10 minutes and was ready to go. Followed instructions and set esteps to 130 and then did a calibration. Mine was very slightly off and had to adjust to 133.4, but the esteps they give you will work mostly which is good for those who dont know how to calibrate their esteps. Ive not had a single skip/slip while using this extruder when your extruder clicks, its skipping. All and all I would buy it again and again.
