Works great. Make sure the depth is correct. Cut to shallow and the clamp protrudes above the groove

This bit makes the perfect groove for the dovetail clamps, with nice rounded edges. I didnt need to sand them at all. Ive seen Youtubers who have made the grooves using a standard dovetail bit and they end up with sharp, torn-out edges that require tedious sanding. For me it was worth the money to avoid that. To extend the life of this bit, I do make a straight groove with another bit first to remove most of the material.

My second bit. The first one had a thicker shank for my table router. This one fits my dewalt hand router. Made more tracks already with this bit.

Good quality

Used to make a tapering jig along with the microjig dovetail clamps. Works great and creates a tight fit.

Good durable, but expensive. Bought these with Micro Jig DVC-538K2 MATCHFIT Dovetail Clamps to use on miter saw table I built. The bit started to slide out while is use causing cut to go deeper. But slots still work. It would be nice if included with clamps at least option, which are also expensive.

Does a much better job cutting the grove for the 45 degree clamps I have.

I purchased the relief bit and the pair work great together.
