These 2% Lanthanated electrodes start reliably and consistantly on A/C aluminum welding, far better than pure tungsten or 2% ceriated. Also surprising was how clean the electrode remained throughout its use and didnt contaminate easily. When sharpened on a Piranha III tungsten grinder, tip showed very little wear. Dressing on a plain bench grinder worked great too. In 30 years of TIG welding, definitely the best performing electrode Ive ever used. Highly recommended.

I have not had time to try these rods yet but I have used them in the past and I was very happy with them so Im sure I will be again..
