Best Tungsten I have used. Was using thoriated before I bought this. Does not contaminate easily whatsoever. I have even dipped this tungsten in the weld pool slightly, quickly pulled it out, and it was absolutely fine. Fantastic amp range. Arc starts are very easy, does not overheat, and very stable arc. Ive used lanthanated, thoriated, ceriated, and a couple other. This is by far my favorite tungsten. The difference is very noticeable.

Have purchased this item twice now. Very good value when compared with what is being charged at a local welding shop. They wanted $50 for a box of ten. With free Prime shipping and no sales tax, at $20, it is really is the best deal going. As to the quality of weld I can do with this verses other brands, I cant tell. I weld both steel and aluminum with this electrode with good results.
