> 24 hourNice router but it can’t handle gigabit Internet. It chokes at around 700mbps with default setting and fasttrack enabled. In comparison, my Verizon router pulls 900+mbps consistently.

> 24 hourvery fast router. I have replaced a rb2011 with which managed 65 users through simple queues, qos via queue tree, balancing loads of 3 wan via vlans, more than 30 firewall rules and another 30 in mangle. in the peak hour 60 megs were spent with an average use of 70% to 90% cpu. now with this new router 3011 the same work consumes between 8% and 11% cpu

> 24 hourIndisputably the most outstanding Router Box on the market today. This system is LOADED with features. Since my first MikrotiK purchase three years ago, Ive since replaced every switch, Router and Ethernet device on my network to their equipment and I couldnt be happier. The only mistakes Ive encountered were ones that I created through bad programming. These are NOT generic, home-brew, residential routers. They can be used in place of the generic, home-brew, residential grade equipment - in fact, if you want a robust and very secure home network, learn how to program RouterOS (on youtube) and youll NEVER buy another POS residential grade router again. MikrotiK systems are bulletproof! Their tech support folks are great about responding quickly as well.

> 24 hourCant say enough good about this product. Bought it for a client. I liked it so much that my firm will be purchasing on for ourselves. Theres a learning curve if you havent worked with routerOS before but I pretty well had things down after two days so it isnt too bad. Great support online as well.

> 24 hourIf you are looking for a device that is easy to configure & setup, turn back now and look at Ubuquiti. Im extremely satisfied with this router. It has every feature one could possibly ask for in a router, its able to switch at least 4gb/s across multiple ports, and its low power. It has all the makings of an enterprise grade device without that enterprise price. The one major downside is that many of the configuration options are not intuitive, burred, or not exposed in the GUI. There also tasks that are not intuitive at all. VPN setup comes to mind. I can not get any VPN service successfully configured through the GUI. The CLI is excellent, and hasnt changed much so guides 6 years old still work. There is a learning curve, but for anyone who wants to get their hands a bit dirty with networking this is the router for you. You can do almost anything with it, and for the price its a steal.

> 24 hourSolid router with a significant amount of configurable features and advance features. Unfortunately, the router OS is generic and it has features listed that the hardware isnt capable of using, and there is no way to tell what the router can and cannot do without additional research. For example wireless. Its not a wireless router, but the OS has wireless features and settings. The touch screen isnt really intuitive, and its a capacitive screen rather than resistive (i.e. it works like early 2000s touchscreen smart phones - think palm pilot, not like todays). Still one of the best routers on the market.
