Really it is only 16 ounces, per the marking lines on the inside of the container. I suppose you could fill it to the brim to get to 19-20 oz, but then you would risk spilling the contents. Otherwise, it is nice and heavy..

I bought this frothing pitcher to use with my DeLonghi automatic espresso machine. It works well so far, my steam wand can reach the bottom so I can put as much or as little milk as I want.

Was bought with a handheld frother, for creating homemade lattes! My girlfriend and I practically use this everyday. Heats up the milk perfectly without staining the pitcher. Looks small when you get it but definitely holds enough milk needed for making 12-16 oz cup of coffee or heating up some hot chocolate milk. Would highly recommend getting this with the PowLix handheld frother. They work great together! Just one note the handle does get pretty hot so have some oven mits handy!
