> 3 dayI keep this game in my car so I can share it with friends and family. A few weeks ago I was spending a few days with friends (seniors). I introduced them to the game. They loved it. I left it with them and ordered a new one for myself. :)a

> 3 dayI love euro- german-style games. This one has some strategy, but not a lot of it. Thats a mixed blessing. If youre a fan of Carcassonne, Catan, etc., youll find this game lacks enough strategy. If you typically play American style board games (Monopoly, Scrabble, Scene It, Trivial Pursuit, etc.), youll find the introduction of more strategy refreshing without being bogged down in a myriad of scoring rules and options. This game is quickly becoming a family favorite because theres enough familiarity and strategy for everyone to enjoy. Its simply a well-rounded game. Three small gripes though on the quality. 1) The pieces arent uniformly sized. The variation is slight, but its there. Why? 2) The printing isnt perfectly centered on the tiles (probably related to the way they were cut) 3) Red & Orange are too difficult to differentiate in anything but optimal lighting conditions. These arent enough to keep us from enjoying the game. For the colors, I compensate by laying my tiles face-down, and viewing them by cupping 3 in each hand. Everyone else I see stands them up like Scrabble tiles. Holding them my way makes it easy for you to tilt them to catch the light right and simultaneously protects your hand from being viewed like my family inadvertently tends to do.

> 3 dayYou can play the game as is but it does not come with score cards or tile stands. If you want that its an extra 18 dollars in the expansion pack. Its not that expensive to put that stuff in with the game. Fun to play great for game night.

> 3 day“Qwirkle” has become our “go to” game currently. It travels well when we want to take it on our family or friends visits, The only suggestion I would have is having a longer or wider bag that allows the tiles to be “shuffled” in the bag at the start of a new game or when drawing tiles from it. It’s rather compact and great for storage. Our friends who introduced us to the game were complaining of this also, so when we ordered ours with the bag, I reconfigured it by making it longer to suit our needs. It’s a fun game that makes a person strategize more to come out on top! So we enjoy the fun it gives those of us playing.
