Kids love It

Nice game , takes some getting used to . Scoring a little confusing instructions could be better but over all it grows on you

“Qwirkle” has become our “go to” game currently. It travels well when we want to take it on our family or friends visits, The only suggestion I would have is having a longer or wider bag that allows the tiles to be “shuffled” in the bag at the start of a new game or when drawing tiles from it. It’s rather compact and great for storage. Our friends who introduced us to the game were complaining of this also, so when we ordered ours with the bag, I reconfigured it by making it longer to suit our needs. It’s a fun game that makes a person strategize more to come out on top! So we enjoy the fun it gives those of us playing.

My older brother and sister-in-law turned me on this game a few weeks ago. I became obsessed with it within, two rounds of play. You can play defensively, aggressively, or a combination of both strategies (ideal). As soon as I got home, I bought it for a friend. So much fun! Now, I cant wait to play it again and again with more friends at Thanksgiving.

Very enjoyable game. Not hard to learn. Tiles are easy for arthritic hands.

We love this new game and it’s a little faster than Rummikub or scrabble.

I have been looking at games for our family since now our youngest two are finally old enough to play. We live on an acreage in Minnesota and so having things to help pass the time during long cold winters is a must. My daughter is in kindergarten and I thought this would be great for her and my preschooler to learn spacial reasoning, patterns, matching etc. this is also one of the games recommended for the elderly and Alzheimers which is what I do. We have played this a couple times and the kids love it. My daughter who just turned 4 can easily follow along. The pieces are durable and excellent quality. The colors are vibrant. They love uno type games where game play is matching so this is great. We just play the game at this point with out keeping score and the kids love it. I loved Rummikub when I was young and this is similar. A good introduction to that. Definitely a good purchase for us. It is also great to have games that isnt parent torture that the kids enjoy and want to play.

Very clever design. This game is sort-of a cross between Scrabble and dominoes. It seems very simple, but there is actually a lot going on in it. You dont have to know English, or numbers; it works with colors and patterns. Kids as young as 8 have played it successfully. And its still very fun and challenging for adults.
