> 24 hourThe projector is very compact and came with the expected power cable, HDMI cable, remote (batteries not included), and an A/V cable. I set it up about 8 feet from a white wall, in the middle of the recommended range. Focus is manual using a dial that is inset on the right side of the unit. I have used the HDMI and Wi-Fi options with a MacBook Pro laptop. First, I projected the MacBook using the HDMI cable. The projector shows up as “S2-TEK TV” in the Displays portion of the System Settings. The picture quality is good, although the image isn’t particularly bright. I didn’t have any problems here and this is my main usage. The projector only has 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and your computer has also has to be on the 2.4 GHz side if you have a dual frequency Wi-Fi modem. If, like me, you use MAC filtering on your Wi-Fi, the MAC number of the projector is given in the “Wi-Fi” menu, and there is a mechanism to enter your Wi-Fi password. Projection uses the “Screen Cast” option on the projector. It shows up as “MarsByte-D71B48” when you look for displays to add, and shows up as “Apple TV” when adjusting settings. The big problem is that there is very large lag over Wi-Fi, almost a half-second. Over Wi-Fi, audio was automatically sent to the projector. The sound quality is adequate for speech, but poor for music. You can adjust the bass and treble or use presets, but the speaker just isn’t very good. The cooling fan runs all the time, but isn’t very loud. I like the 1/4” tripod socket on the bottom because that’s a very convenient way for me to set it up. The projector doesn’t project an exceptionally bright image, but fine for a home office, living room, or bedroom setup. This is a good choice for a budget projector for home use.

> 24 hourMy kid always requests more screen time. Considering the eye damage caused by blue light, I found this mini projector on Amazon. It’s really out of my expectations. It is safe for kids’ eyes! Really worth the money!

> 24 hourSuper cool little projector. It is super small and light, but it packs a punch. It comes with all the cables and power adapter and a remote. The picture quality is pretty good and has all the settings and adjustability youd need. I think it works really well, and in my opinion its the perfect travel projector. So for downsides, I wish it included a travel case of some type so you could easily use this in multiple places. The other downside is that it needs a tripod for you to use properly, unless you want to stack objects to get the image positioning right. There are a couple downsides but Id still recommend this.

> 24 hourI use it to watch movies. It is great to use in the bedroom. Very easy to set up and connect to iPhone screen mirror. The only down side is that there is no screen included. You need to use on white wall.

> 24 hourLikes: compact size; good, clear picture; built in speaker; connectivity options; ease of operation. Dislikes: setting the projector up. The projector must be directly in front of the screen and level. This makes set up quite tricky as even the slightest degree off being horizontal blurs the image at the extremes. This can be seen in the Windows background image, where the wording at the top is out of focus compared to that in the middle. I had the front of the projector raised about 3mm (1/8) to lift the image towards the screen center. So, this mini projector really has to have a permanent base and screen set up to work properly. The home screen is very easy to navigate. The remote works well and the supplied cables all have a decent quality feel to them. Such a shame that getting the projector lined up to work as advertised can be a bit of an issue.

> 24 hourThis really is a mini projector, you can very easily hold it in your hand and it is extremely light. This projector provides very clear and high quality picture. It is lacking in a couple of areas. The 1st is that the speaker is quite awful and I havent been able to get the audio to come out of one of my external speakers. 2nd is the wifi connection for screen casting. I spent alot of time trying to sync it to my phone but it would not sync no matter what I tried. I dont recommend this projector. It would be much better if there was an obvious way to connect an external speaker and if the screen casting was easy to use. If those 2 changes are made I would recommend this projector.

> 24 hourIf you realize before you buy the ZDK projector that it is old technology then you will be pleased with it. The picture quality is 1080p which is years behind. The bandwidth for the Wifi is outdated so you are limited to 2.4 GHz. I dont want to download MiraCast onto my phone or tablet nor do I have an HDMI adapter cable so I did not test the interconnect between the two. The HDMI connection works well and usually only takes a few seconds for the handshake to complete. As I mentioned before, the picture quality is good and the picture is larger than 8X4 at 15 feet. The clarity is decent but the small print does start to get hard to read. Your picture quality is best between 4.5 to 10 feet. The equitable screen size is between a 36-inch to 70+ -inch screen. Id call the sound clear, but not well-balanced. The treble is good but the bass is weak. I also found the volume to be low so this will not fill a large area with sound. This device is made of all to keep the price down. It doesnt give me the look and feel of a quality-made device but it does illuminate well in a semi-bright room so I have to give credit where it is due. For the cost and abilities, it does well but if you are looking for something that is high fidelity, this isnt it.

> 24 hourThe main thing is that the image quality is solid which is what I needed the most. It can maintain a decent sharpness even at the larger sizes. The brightness and colors are good, and overall its very usable. There are limited connections but thats due to its portability. The sound is also decent. Not the best, not the worst. The main downside would be that the fans can be pretty loud even though they say its quieter than the competition. Projector lights are bright and can run hot so its understandable that the fans have to be up, and given the form factor its certainly not a simple task. But its a good value for the price and I like it a lot.
