My husband has trouble with his knees and has difficulty getting up from the toilet. We bought this for our guest bathroom. We wanted something to help our friends with mobility problems, but we also did not want our house to look like a nursing home. We like the asthetics of this item and the functionality.

Easy to install and results in a sturdy assist bar. One small drawback is that the spacing off the wall is about a quarter inch too close so the mega rolls of TP are a tighter fit than it should be. Does not make me rate it down but Moen should remedy this problem.

This seemed like the coolest way to hang toilet paper.. I had to return it though because there was not sufficient space between it where it had to be mounted and the loo. I still think it is such a cool idea.

Having this bar beside my toilet has helped me so much in rising. While Im healthy, my 80 year old knees arent what they once were, and I was having a bit of a struggle. I first saw this at my daughters house where they had just installed it in their downstairs guest bath at the request of my son-in-laws mother, who has a very difficult time getting up and down. I loved it, got the link from my daughter and immediately ordered it. It took a little planning on the part of my husband to get it in just the position I wanted, but once mounted (only one side in a stud) it is very, very sturdy. I got the brushed silver color and it looks lovely. I would highly recommend this Moen grab bar.

Had problems with the mounting system. It’s really easy enough. I only needed the mount for one side. I messed up the first one. The second one was going fine but mounting screw would simply not thread. Ended up losing that one in the wall as well. Bought one from Lowe’s and ended up fine. Seems sturdy enough.

Easier to install than I thought. Had the recommended plasterboard thickness (new on a remodel) but still managed to damage lower part of board on one side. I blame myself not product. I may have tightened too much because there after install not after use. Holds fine, sturdy and looks fine. Contractor is sending painter for repair and paint. I may post another picture after repair.

I had mine mounted on the end of the vanity. The wooden side was reinforced and mounting could be done from both sides. I can see how it would be easy to mounted on sheet rock and would work. It feels very stable, looks good, and is comfortable to use. It was expensive but will probably last as long as the bathroom.

I like for things to coordinate, so I bought this to match my grab-bar towel bars. I didnt think that it would be very useful as a grab bar since I have a rather cheap cabinet to instal it into. I was really impressed at how strong the grab bar is, though - it feels remarkably study even screwed into our inexpensive cabinet. Its also much easier to change the toilet paper now - it just slides on and off. The bar is backwards for me - I had to install on the left side of the toilet - but it doesnt look odd or cause any issues. If you have mobility issues or are just exceptionally clumsy (like me), Id definitely suggest looking into this collection.

The Moen grab bar/TP holder looks great and feels very secure when using the grab bar feature. Pretty easy to install. Happy customer.
