I dont like stainless blades so I bought one pocket carbon steel blade to try out. After using the pocket knife, I bought two of the larger ones. Best knives I have ever had !

My first Morakniv knife was a gift from a Swedish friend it was a classic number 2 with a beechwood handle painted red in a plastic sheath that was 35 years ago and I still have it, a cherished heirloom. Recently purchased the Morakniv Companion Heavy Duty am very pleased with it, and expect that it will be around at least as long as my first Morakniv. They are outstanding knives, anyone should be proud to own a Morakniv knife.

Best 20 dollar fixed blade knife you can get!

Really tough knife. I used it to split quarter cut oak logs. Driving it through them with a 1-1/2# hatchet for 5 days with no noticeable loss of edge sharpness. Works beautifully both carving and chopping.

Great balance. Excellent construction. For those complaining about the handle size your the same people that whine about everything. For the price do not pass this deal up.

This is one serious blade... A do everything blade.
