Really needed a hole right in the middle of the mount. My handyman drilled a hole thru the mount in the middle to get it in the stud. I have a 75 tv, and 75 of space between two windows, so it had to be perfect. If he didnt drill a hole in the middle, it would have been off by an inch. Considering the space, it would have been really noticeable. Once it was attached, my guy did a couple of pull-ups on it. Its not going anywhere, and holds my tv perfect!

My wife wanted our sofa moved to an adjacent wall and the TV hung on a pivot mount – the TV was mounted on a tilting wall mount prior. The big issue is our wall studs are 24” on center and the TV would mainly be turned 75º in order to view from our main seating area. After much research, I figured this TV mount would do the job. Our 43” LED TV was easy to mount to the bars and the mount itself was not complicated to install. The hard part was trying to install the lag bolts into the studs while holding the mount against the wall. Once attached and the TV hung, it was stiff to swivel the TV but in hindsight, that is probably better than being too loose. And a few sprays of WD-40 made the turning easier. I went overkill on the mount, I could have purchased a cheaper mount but wanted to be sure the TV stayed on the wall with the kids wanting to move it around and since it’ll be pulled out from the wall almost constantly. Pros: The bubble level included made mounting in line; many mounting holes to choose from based on wall location; many spacers included for attaching the brackets to the TV; easy to swivel and tilt in any direction; ‘folds flat’ against the wall when needed. A great swivel wall mount that I have and will continue to recommend.

Thats what you need to have to be able to maneuver your TV mounted with this thing. Its like the bolts are really tight preventing it from moving it back and forth easily. The only way to move the TV back and forth is by pushing and pulling the TV itself (obviously) but Im not comfortable doing that with the amount of force it takes. Tilting it isnt nearly as bad, but I only had to do that once. I mounted my Samsung 65 inch for reference. I gave it 3 stars because overall its a decent mount and I feel its doing the job of keeping it on the wall. I would not buy this again, however.

I have a 65 LG that I purchased this TV mount for. It fits well, holds the TV with no issue, and has the full range of motion advertised. In fact, it has much more motion than Ill ever need, and can hold the TV out from the wall further than I am comfortable with. It does make back-of-TV access (power cords, HDMI, etc.) much easier. During unboxing/mounting, the pivot arm is still connected to the back plate. It would be much simpler for install if the arm was shipped separate. There are only a few bolts to take this assembly loose and will make the install much easier. General installation note unrelated to the product itself: ensure you have the correct anchoring hardware for installation. We found out we have metal studs, not wood, so we had to go buy different hardware for mounting. Its important to get hardware that will work. If you have to change hardware, also make sure you have the correct washers. Measure 3 times, drill once to avoid extra holes in the apartment walls.

It is solid and sturdy, supporting my 65 TV effortlessly. It is easy to install. And it telescopes and swivels easily to allow plenty of access behind the TV for connections. I highly recommend it. (I have three Mounting Dream mounts for 24, 40, and 65 TVs. All are great.)

I used this wall mount for a 65 Sony. It is very solid and sturdy, I have no fear that it will come off the wall. It includes all possible combination of screws etc that one might need for its installation. I liked that most of the mount was first attached to the wall. Then the two vertical pieces attached to the TV. The TV could then be lifted and hung on the wall mount. The two brackets that hold the TV to the mount could be attached without physically holding the TV in place. One of the horizontal bars right behind the TV blocked the optical out connector that I wanted to use. I was able to slide the TV about an inch off center on the wall mount to get around this. It is also possible to change the location vertical mounts to the TV up or down depending on the TV. It is easy to swivel the TV as needed. I face it straight ahead to watch TV from my recliner or swivel it left to watch while using my elliptical. The only thing I still need to do is find out how to hold the TV perfectly horizontal. There seems to be a little play that allows the TV to get a bit out of horizontal when I swivel it. However, once set to horizontal it stays there until I move it again.

If I had to choose a wall mount for my expensive TV I’m going to choose something I know is NOT going to fall. I ended up on this nice lil fella here to do just the trick! Installation: Since my wife did not want to give me a hand and my 1.5 year old son was sleeping I decided to give it a go on my own. Yea I did it and yea it wasn’t too bad. The hardest part honestly is getting the bubble level they sent you perfectly straight on the mounting pattern sheet. Once I had that on I stuck the sheet up there with the adhesive backs and predrilles some holes into the studs. Next, with my superhuman brute strength, I lifted the bracket into position, against the tape on pattern, and added one bolt. Followed by the next. Followed by 2 more(don’t forget the washers). Two of the holes didn’t have the center crosshairs that the mounting pattern comes with so it ended up being maybe a degree off tilt. Luckily they have a nice little adjustment screw that lets you make fine +-3 degree adjustments. Then I hulled my massive yet elegant tv into the bracket and voila. I settled for where it was because I’m sure as heck not doing that again... Durability: My tv is still on the wall and it is an lg oled so if it falls I’m not going to be too happy. So far so good. Some third category: Better prices than Best Buy and better reassurance than sketchy eBay listings. If you have a cheaper tv you can find a cheaper bracket I’m sure. But if your looking for best bang for buck then this is a decent option. Peace out homies -Grandma

The mount is very sturdy and has a great range of motion. It feels solid fully extended and tilted at several angles. There is no wobble or sway at all. It will also collapse completely and only pushes the TV out an inch or so from the wall when fully retracted. After using 3 other types of mounting arms/brackets with different TVs, this was by far the easiest Ive ever installed. Actually hanging the TV on the installed mount instead of wrestling with the TV while attempting to fasten it to the mount is simple enough to be brilliant. The mount comes with everything you need except a drill, screwdriver, measuring tape (you do want it centered on the wall dont you?), and stud finder. My installation was a 65 TV over a fireplace, so I just substituted masonry bolts and anchors I already had in place of the ones they supplied. Warranty violation? Maybe, but this thing is a rock, so Im not concerned. Please note that they offer to send you free masonry anchors if you need them, but they are not included. The included lag bolts are definitely adequate and I suspect the mount can probably support more weight than they tell you. (I seriously doubt you would want a or need a TV heavier then the recommended limit.) My assumption is that most people will be installing into drywall and studs, and for that the kit is complete. It has several screw sizes and spacers that will fit just about any TV out there. Directions are clear and easy to follow. They even include a template for mounting the base as well as 2 levels - one to stick on the template and another to use with the mount. While I did find that the stick on level was not completely accurate, it is a clever idea and definitely helps to make sure the template is level while you find studs and mark and drill pilot holes. The template itself has adhesive strips to keep it in place during the process. I had no issues removing it from the wall when I was ready to install the mount. The installation took @ 20 minutes from opening the box to securing the last brackets. The worst part was lifting and hanging the TV. I did that myself, which I would not necessarily recommend unless you are super confident you can handle the weight and awkwardness of the TV. Most TVs (as they show you in the directions) are a 2 person job for at least the hanging. Would definitely recommend this mount. If/when I need to do this again, I will get another one.

So last thing I wanted was our monstrous tv on the living room wall. But if you decide to give in to this idea, it’s the one to buy. The range the wall mount has is nice. You can pull it forward and side to side. Slides easily and it’s sturdy.

I installed this for a 75 LG TV. The packaging of the hardware in separate sections is nice, the instructions were clear and accurate, the inclusion of a bubble level and template was very useful. I was able to mount the bracket on my wall by myself by hanging it on one partially screwed in wall bolt, then rotating it in place to put in the other three bolts. I did need help to lift my 100+ lb. TV onto the bracket. The full motion with adjustable tilt and rotation is a good feature. The motion was a little tight, so I loosend some of the nuts to make it move easier. I finally figured out that the included three velcro logo strips were cable ties, there was no identification in the parts list.
