I was a little skeptical about buying these from some of the reviews. I’m just here to say I am happy I purchased them. They do the trick. My poor little man was getting blinded by the morning sun taking big sis to school so I needed something. It works great. It really shades the bright sun. I do have already tinted windows. But these help so incredibly much. Happy buyer.

Looks so cool, i bought 2 but one of this came with one piece missed.

One of the sun shades came with a faulty heat indicator, which is always white. The other one is red and its a comfortable temperature in the car, but this one is bright white

Not quite dark enough to keep me from squinting, but the ratchet roll-up means the bottom suction cup only has to keep it from swinging (not pull against the spring return). The hooks at the top will clip over my headliner trim, above the side window, so it can just live up there out of the way until I need it. Be careful if you have side curtain air bags - this could become a missile if you mount it wrong!

We’ve had these for 5 years and counting. They work great. Over time the wind up mechanism slows down a bit but it still does the job.

Weve tried everything to get the suction cups to stick. It hangs great from the top of the window, but the suction cups heat up and fall off, leaving the curtain hanging loose and letting sun in.

UPDATE: One of the suction cups fell off after a month and I couldn’t find it and the whole thing was hanging off the window so I called customer support and they replaced the entire thing! Got here in a week! Super pleased! Baby is 13 months and managed to rip off his canopy on the car seat and of course we live in south florida where the sun is always blazing and he cannot ride without one lol so I ordered these and my window was acting funny at first trying to put the hooks on it and then rolling it up so I decided to use just the suction sucks instead and it works great so far! Took a trip to the west coast and baby was well shaded! There’s a little button on the side at the top that you push and that little screen will get sucked right in but watch your finger! You can see out of the inside but not so well from the outside which is great but if you have dark tints it could be a problem at night so make sure to roll them up (only takes a second) the bottom has suction cups also so it doesn’t bang against the window. The material is like a cloth.

It be great if the top of your window is perfectly square but if your window is angled, you have a big gap at the top. I have no idea why people say the suction cups dont work but they obviously dont know you have to get them wet to put them on the window, they work fantastic. Its sort of a pain in the butt when you forget its there and you roll down your window to go to the bank or the drive-through and the bottom tabs come off but thats my own fault. I think its a really great product, I purchased this because I just had my skin lasered and the left side of my face was a lot worse than my right side because of the sun.
