> 3 dayMy wife and I love our Nanits! We have 2 and love the split screen functionality. Picture quality is awesome! If I had one thing I’d change, it’d just be the lag time of the feed. It’s about 1-2 seconds behind real time.

> 3 dayFor the amount of money you spend on this camera, it is overrated and expensive. I would recommend a stand alone unit that doesnt depend on internet connectivity. Pros: Picture quality is really good. Sound features and sleep tracking features are good. The ability to watch on multiple devices is nice. The new IPad update features a dual picture/side picture so you can use your tablet and monitor the baby. Cons: The camera is expensive for No wifi, no camera. If you want a base to travel with the camera you will need to spend another $50 and lose a lot of the features. The travel base also does not secure the camera as well as the wall mount. Security: Some users have posed questions and had issues with the security of the camera since it is strictly a WiFi camera. I have not had issues with this but there are reports of it happening. App: The app works okay but constantly loses connection to the camera. You will also need an android/google play supported tablet or IPad. The Amazon Fire tablet is not supported.

Greater than one weekOne of the main reasons for my decision to purchase the Nanit is for the breathing technology that it offers. We just recently moved our LO to the crib fully at night and it is so nice that the Nanette monitors her breathing for me so that I don’t have to worry at night. we also love that it gives us the option to share viewing with the caregivers and I am able to watch the app at work as well! Nanette also offers neat features like Nature Sounds and a nightlight! I the camera notifies you how long your ELO has been sleeping and records activities for later viewing. I cannot say enough good things about our Nanit!

Greater than one weekI love our Nanit monitor because it has been very dependable, is intuitive to use and very convenient. I also love the reliability of the monitor and the cell phone app. The app notifications are helpful for me to peek in on my little one without having to disturb him. I also love that I can capture snapshots of cute moments of my baby directly from the app!

> 3 dayVery great product! Was suggested by another mom. Love the sleep tracking, pattern sleep, and tips and tricks for helping baby sleep along the way. Highly recommend!! Only disadvantage is you have to have internet, where we live cell service is very poor. When my internet goes out I have to bring him back up to my room.

Greater than one weekPrior to biting the bullet and spending the $$$ for this monitor, I had tried a few other Wifi baby monitors, but was terribly unsatisfied with them. The Owlet Cam app would freeze the sound or video feed randomly and cause me to miss my baby crying (Owlet customer service told me to just restart the app, but if Im ASLEEP I cant do that!) The VTECH Wifi cam I used, I was convinced it was defective because it just wouldnt stay connected to the receiver in my 800 square foot apartment. They sent me a replacement and it had the same issue. And when that one disconnects, it beeps pretty loudly to wake you up. One night I didnt sleep at all because it just wouldnt reconnect so I went and laid in my babys room. I even got an expensive Wifi Mesh system with 4 satellites and this did not solve the connectivity issue, so that got returned as well. Anyway, now that you know the history, lets look at the Nanit. I had wanted a Nanit from the start, but its just so expensive compared to all the others! But when I went and did research and read reviews, I couldnt find one that I could guarantee would work for me. After the Owlet issue I was hesitant to use a product that didnt have a physical receiver, but I decided I would just try it, and if it didnt work then I would return it. Bottom line: I am absolutely blown away by how good this camera is! The picture quality is good even at night, the app has never once crashed or frozen, and there is a backup connection (local mode) if the Wifi ever fails (which sometimes it does say it lost connection, but I never lose my feed if Im in the house). Nanit also provides a lot more important information (IMO) than the Owlet Cam did. I dont have the Nanit subscription, but the information I get from the basic app is perfect. It shows when baby wakes up, whether baby was put to bed asleep, time to fall asleep (if they werent already asleep), how long baby was out of bed, and when significant sounds were picked up (crying, etc). The paid version gives you deeper analytics of babys sleep habits, if you want that. The app does allow background sound so you can listen with the screen locked or while using another app, which is very helpful! I will say that my husband and I pretty quickly disabled motion and sound notifications on our phones because they were very spammy and not that useful for us. I cannot review the breathing band, since my baby was too big for the one that came with it, and now that hes older I dont worry that hes going to stop breathing every night. Im sure it works great, considering how great it works in general.

> 3 dayQuickly became a must have item. The video quality is fantastic, the app is simple to use, being able to zoom in is clutch. This helped us all develope a strong sleep routine. We also love the sleep sounds

> 3 dayWe purchased with our son less than 2 years ago and we loved it! The only downfall is we repurchased from the same link that we did before and when we received it they do not include the swaddle anymore in the box only 1 band. Then you don’t get the travel stand with it you only yet the wall stand. I looked back at my purchase in 2020 and didn’t pay more or less than I did this time and figured it was the exact same product. I guess they changed it out and you have to purchase them separate. Thankfully we already have the “extras” from when our son used them but I raced to everyone how much you got with it and come to find out you don’t get everything no more. Other than that we have no had any Issues and we love it!
