NAR Hyfin Vent Compact - Two Pack

Current year 2020. Expiration 2025. Even though I doubt that means anything good to know they are new and up to date.

This is the third set of these Ive ordered Ive now got them in all of my trauma kits. The compact version fits so much better than the full size in an IFAK

Great product. Fold in half and fits in my small Ifak kits. Measurements in picks. Expiration 2028/ shelf life is great!

I hope I never to have to use these. I am a teacher so I wanted to keep these in my purse. They took a while to arrive. I wish life saving supplies werent so expensive. These are basically the same material used to make a large, waterproof bandaid, yet, very expensive for what you get.

Great additions to our IFAK and First-Aid kits. Thankfully haven’t had to use them, but have piece of mind that we have them if needed.

My drill sergeant used to say a sucking chest wound is natures way of saying youve been in a fire fight. MAN we trained hard to learn how to apply plastic cigarette package wrappers and/or MRE bags... that was decades ago. Now you got your ACS (Asherman), BCS (Bolin), HALO, Fox brand, and HyFins and... You hope youll never need one. Forever the boy scout, I carry a set of these in my range bag and another in a blowout kit for when Im hunting with friends. You never know. Cheap insurance.

Look to be good quality and well packaged Hope to never have to use.

I bought these to keep in my Six Echo Systems Kicker ankle medkit. They fit great, and I have trained on them a few times. They are very good occlusion dressings. Ordinarily we are trained to tape a glove on 3 sides over a sucking chest wound, however when you are alone and dont have an ambulances gear, this is a perfect alternative. They are slightly harder to burp to prevent or reduce a tension pneumothorax, however this is usually not necessary. An essential product to have if you CC, or just to be ready for anything.
