Before you stick these magnets to metal, you may want to consider the painted surface you are sticking them to. Consider a small piece of cloth or felt between the magnet and surface to keep the paint from being scratched as sliding the magnet to the edge of the metal is the only easy way to remove the magnet. They are strong!

These magnets can be used as magnets or as hooks - they come with the hooks detatched; to use them as hooks you screw the hook into the magnet. They are so strong that they are difficult to move or remove, which is a very good thing. Our hook is holding up a laundry bag and doing a great job. The magnets are on the door of our cruise room cabin, and holding up our calendar and reminders. We looked for really strong magnets, We got em!

I saw magnetic hooks mentioned in a cruise cabin hack on a website called CruiseCritic. I ordered these and have used them twice and really like them. We used them to keep jackets and hats and such organized and handy. They are a little difficult to remove, but thats because they are strong. Easy to remove would equal not as strong or able to handle a jacket or tote. They are compact and easy to pack. I will probably get more for around the house and garage.

There’s nothing not to like about these hooks. The magnet is so strong it’s as solid as if it were screwed on. Also handsome in SS and durable.

I was looking for magnetic hooks with an extra good hold, as what I needed to hang was a little heavier than normal. These hooks are wonderful and arrival was quick.

I use these in my Sprinter for coat hooks or misc. items I want hug up. Very, very strong magnets. They dont scratch the paint like other magnet products I have tried. They are not easy to remove, but that is exactly what I wanted.

Great holding strength. Have so many uses for. No its not easy to remove the magnet but that is the point of using a strong magnet. It is easy to remove objects that you attach to the hook.

These hook magnets were much stronger than I had expected. Work great on side of stove for potholders which was my intention when purchasing. You will not be disappointed. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars was due to the fact that the magnets really held on.
