I purchased these magnetic hooks to use on an upcoming cruise and gave them a test drive with my stainless steel refrigerator door to get an idea of how theyll work on the ship. These bad boys stuck like glue to the refrigerator, so much so that I was afraid of scratching the finish trying to get them unstuck! I didnt put much weight on them, similar to how theyll be used on the deep blue ocean, but I think they wouldve taken almost anything I could have given them (within reason, of course). I bought a few extra hooks to give my traveling companions should they need them in their cabin. I might give them some, but I might not.

These were recommended for our cruise. Worked great to keep room organized. Great for towels, bags, jackets, etc

Strong magnets

I bought 2 boxes of 4 hooks for myself and one box for my sister for a cruise we just took. They come separated (base from hook) but it only takes a few seconds to screw each hook into its base. These are super strong and worked really well on our magnetic cruise ship walls. Each hook was very sturdy and held a wet swimsuit, or a few ballcaps, or even a small, lightly filled backpack. I feel like I could have loaded more onto each hook but was trying to be cautious. They add so much more storage area to a cruise ship cabin (or any other magnetic surface). I would definitely recommend these hooks. And at the end of our cruise they were easy to remove and left no marks behind.

very satisfied - they provide a strong hold and require a bit of effort to remove but not too bad. Im a knifemaker and use them to secure the knife blank when sanding on power sander

I purchased a small locker for coats, etc. and discovered no hooks were provided, and I did not want to drill holes into the new locker, nor attach anything permanently. So, I bought these super strong hooks thinking I could simply stick them under the lid and have the flexibility to position them along that horizontal surface as needed. Of course, a heavy load on the magnetic hook that is stuck on a vertical plane would slide down, but it takes a decently heavier load (I can hang a large coffee cup on the side wall and it doesnt slide down). Price was good, and service was good. It only a couple of days to receive the order. Im happy with this product, will order more, and recommend.

I bought these for a cruise we took and so happy I did. I was able to hang our badges, backpacks, bathing suits and hats up on the walls. The walls of the rooms are all magnetic and these were so useful. I originally bought the smaller ones, but am so happy I went up a size they were sturdy and worked well.

A nice product but it didn’t do what I needed it to do. I just had a lightweight tarp I wanted to attach to a metal building and you would think with the rating they give it for weight it would be no problem. I think these would be fine for something like a spatula maybe even lightweight tools but it’s not that strong. At least that was my experience with attaching it to the metal siding of a galvanized building.
