Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Lens with Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras, 2183, Black

I am loving every bit of this prime lens!! You can take really good portraits and landscape photographs with it. It gives nice bokeh at f/1.8. Even in low lighting conditions it performs pretty well. I am very happy with the purchase.

This is my first prime, and my first lens after the kit lens that came with my Nikon 5100. I wanted something for indoor/lowlight and for hobby models, as well as learning more about photography in general. My research led me to this and so far Im happy considering my lack of knowledge and experience.

Nikon India is proving lenses made in China whereas on the box a misleading note is thereImported by Nikon India, Manufactured by Nikon Corpn. Tokyo but inside lense is Made in China. This is not a fare practice since customer believe that they a getting a guinine product. In any sight the will not give image of lense where is it is mentioned Made in China. Why? They should show that also. What is the harm? However, I am satisfied with the product.

Objectif à focale fixe 35 mm pour appareils Nikon à visée reflex et capteur DX C (D40, D60, D300 etc.). Ce nest pas un zoom ; il faut donc avancer ou reculer par rapport au sujet à photographier, mais lavantage est de procurer le même angle de vue que la vision humaine (focale équivalente en 24x36 : 52,5 mm). Plutôt volumineux mais maniable, la qualité optique est bonne, surtout en fermant un peu le diaphragme. On peut lutiliser avantageusement en tant quobjectif de base, comme sur des anciens argentiques des années 70.

I am relatively new to photography, but this lens came recommended to me. I use it with my Nikon D7100. I have been very happy thus far. It has allowed me to experiment more with aperture priority and manual modes. Great blurring of background. I have used it mainly when photographing our babies, but plan to use it more outdoors this spring. I would highly recommend this lens.

My default lens for anything, photography and video. Ive had the lens for about 2 years and I has always served me well in producing beautiful crisp and clean images. THe only drawback is the green/purple fringing but thats not a major issue at all. 101% recommended buy.

Used or Returned product--NOT new. Box damaged. Pamphlets crinkled, folded awkwardly. Rear Cap either BROKEN and or so loose that its the wrong cap. This was sold as new.

Das Objektiv ist ideal für die dunkle Jahreszeit und für Innenaufnahmen. Mittlerweile habe ich ca. 1000 Bilder geschossen und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Bei der Blende 1,8 lassen sich Objekte mit einem feinen Bouquet freistellen, wobei die Schärfe nur in der Mitte gut ist. Mit einer Blende von 2,8 gelingen Portraits am besten. Die beste Abbildungsleistung erreicht man mit Blende 4 bis 5,6. Das Bild ist bis zum Rand gleichmäßig scharf und kontrastreich. Der Autofocus ist präzise und zeigte bisher keine Aussetzer. Die Haptik ist OK aber nicht perfekt. Unter Berücksichtigung des günstigen Preises, ist das Objektiv auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

I was unsure if I was going to like this or not. I looked at YouTube videos and decided to purchase it. I have no issues. No regrets. Excellent for portrait photography.
