I have a Motorola Z2 Play with moto mod battery. The magnet is not strong enough to keep the phone upright.

These little guys are amazingly strong and never fall off, sticks to ball perfectly & doesn’t stop or fall at all! You just have to keep this clean n wipe it from time to time. We have these on all our phones now & in all our cars, have been working great and it’s been 11 months since we started using them. Plus you can change them from phone to phone as long as you buy the little tape for the back which you can buy separately.

In my opinion this is the best phone mount you can buy. Not only can you put it on the ball mount that they make, you can stick it on your fridge or locker, which I do very often. Its also very minimal and doesnt get caught up on anything. Overall its a very good product.
